They had some great produce and local products, very good gelato and excellent coffee. Wonderful service. Take your coffee out on their patio and enjoy the view.

My family has a cabin up on Shawnigan Lake and it is a beautiful lake with a friendly community. Mason's is a nearby convenience store that has good snacks, ice cream, and food. There is also a beach near Mason's and a marina or two. There is also a ski course for advanced water skiers. In winter the water can get very high and stormy.

Ive lived in shawnigan for a brief time now. About 5 months or so. Im moving shortly, but only to get closer to the ocean. Quite a charming place. Lots of young families. Koksilah provincial park is definitely worth hitting up, and if you want a great light breakfast head to omas bakery, then grab a coffee at the shawnigan lake coffee house. The compass is also a great place to grab some mexican cuisine.

Beautiful lake! The google map location is wrong if you are driving there.There is a small car park opposite to St. John’s Academy which gives the best view of the lake. Hence, put st johns academy on map and then enjoy the lake!

Beautiful lake! Definitely a good spot to check out on Vancouver Island. The water is really pure and nice. There are lots of houses around it that are cool to see if you're out on the lake. Very nice!
