I’m visiting Collinwood for the weekend and my husband and I are trying as many local restaurants as we can. We ordered take out from al Carbon, we ordered a hamburger, chevaps sandwich and macaroni and cheese. The chevap sandwich was very good, and the macaroni and cheese tasted delicious. The hamburger was raw, so we had to go back and get a new one, they cooked a new one right away but we had to interrupt our dinner to go back to the restaurant. They also gave us a couple of drinks for the inconvenience.Dinner would have been much better if we had been able to eat it together.

If there was an option for 6 stars, I would give it. This restaurant was over and above in every way! From our server, Alex, to our cocktails, appetizer, entrees, and ending with dessert, we were blown away!Ambiance was super lovely inside. We came on a night where it was not super busy, but this did not dampen our experience whatsoever. Staff welcomed us in and didn’t rush us at all.We ordered off their cocktail menu, so many options for such creative and delicious drinks! Would definitely recommend the gin & apple, as well as the beso picante. Worth the price.We started with the yucca fritas, great for sharing and love the truffle cheese.Took forever to decide on our entrees because everything sounds so delicious. We got the red snapper sandwich and the ribs, definitely recommend both.For dessert, we shared the tres lèche, which was so beautiful and just as yummy.We finished our meal and immediately decided we needed to come back. Overall, this experience was amazing and would recommend for any regular visit or special occasion. We will be back soon!

Got a table pretty quickly. It does get busy, so book ahead from what I was told. Food & Drinks were super delicious, tried a few things! Apparently the coffee is amazing, unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to try it. Staff is super friendly and very professional. Elegant environment. 5 Stars for sure!

What a fine place to grab dinner in Collingwood. This is hands down one of the best restaurants in the area. I absolutely loved how they infuse fresh local ingredients into their dishes. If you had to choose one dish, please get the dessert, Tres Leches cake.

Friendly staff, food are so amazing, each dishes are just like piece of art. It was my husband’s birthday and they prepared a beautiful dessert for him and very thoughtful. Definitely will come back again.

Al Carbón, hands down one of the best meals we’ve had at a restaurant in Collingwood! Super friendly staff, really good cocktails and awesome food! Such amazing flavours, super fresh ingredients and so beautifully plated! We ordered way too much so be very hungry as the portions are HUGE, but hey, now we have breakfast and lunch looked after!

The atmosphere inside is really nice! This time I tried the little patio. Food is really delicious. Everything tasted so fresh! Tried the ceviche and it was an excellent portion for two. The empanadas tasted as if they just made the dough for us… melt in your mouth!

The place looks great and the atmosphere is very charming. The drinks and desert were top notch but we the half chicken left much to be desired.We got in and and our waiter was very welcoming, friendly and funny. We started with drinks and the Gin apple was crazy good and I am not a fan of gin. We then got a cheese empanada to starts and I was very very flavour and had a good crunch to it. We were enjoying our drinks and app and ordered a half chicken to shared as it was heavily loaded with fries and that's what we were craving. The presentation was nice and the side sauces were really good but the chicken was dry and the fries very over seasoned. We needed the night with a desert, tres leches, and it hit at the right spots and got extra points for helping us cleanse our mouth from the early attack from the fries.Overall the I would come back again and definitely have more drinks and apps.
