This place is so cool! I have never been to a hidden restaurant! The food was wonderful and the wait staff were fantastic! The creativity and presentation of the dishes was an experience just in itself. We were greeted with a smile when we arrived and every staff member wished us farewell on our way out! We will be back without a doubt!The picture is of a smoked tuna tataki dish after the server placed the sauce at our table!Thanks for the great night out!

Went here to celebrate mine and my boyfriend's birthday. Food, Service and Ambiance are all top notch. This will be our go to place whenever we crave Japanese food as we all loved everything about it. Would highly recommend!

Our experience at Ajito exceeded greatly our expectations! The menu is extensive, and yet every meal is unique, carefully designed food, with fantastic flavours and adventurous combinations! What a feast for our senses. The atmosphere is simple, a bit secretive, and plain, which serves as a perfect canvas in which the wonderful creations from the kitchen claim centre stageA note about the service…I didn’t know it could be that good! They are kind, amicable, and yet quite professional and serious about the precious plates brought to the tableTo those that miss the point with lukewarm reviews, I would suggest to try it again, perhaps with a more open mind and a decisive laid back attitudeTo the staff, thank you again for an unforgettable experience

This is way to cool. The place is very small, and it can get loud. However the service was excellent the food was very good. Price in the midrange and the coconut drink was excellent It the coolest thing is how you get into the place. Enjoy the food adventure from your foodie travellers.

We just went to the speakeasy at the back we had an app and cocktails. The staff here are amazing especially our server. He was so kind, personable, talkative and had amazing recommendations. All the staff say hello and goodbye to you when you walk in and out. I will be returning for sure. I am just so happy when great staff show great customer service it's sets the tone for a great evening!Check them out!

I wanted to try this place ever since I first learned about this speakeasy, and we've come here twice for dinner so far. Reservations are a must as the restaurant is small and fills up quickly.Their menu offered a good mix of items, making the meal a unique experience. The presentation of the dishes were also good. We especially enjoyed the agedashi tofu and carbonara udon. The deep fried ice cream was also good, a special treat from the owner.The cast iron mussels were the least consistent, as it was not fresh on our second visit. We also noticed that portion sizes were smaller on our second visit, which was only about a week apart.It was busy and noisy the first time we came on a weekend, but the food and service was better, which may be attributed to the owner and his wife serving us. Unfortunately, service was almost non-existent on our last visit, despite it being a quieter night.
