Always a hit or a miss. On some days the food is really good and wants you to go back. Or other days, it's just about palatable.Their daily specials are a real VFM.Tuesday - Chicken Biryani (usually good)W'day - Butter ChickenTh'day - Veg Biryani (always moody), Channa RiceFriday - Chicken Tikka Wrap (usually good)Sunday - Aloo Naan / RotiThe other location on Spadina does Halwa Poori on Sunday

For the dude who’s always taking my order, I’m the person who keeps asking for the lamb brain. May as well start there too, it’s phenomenal. The brain has a creamy texture, both firm but soft, to me kind of an inbetween of paneer and cream cheese. This natural nature of the brain complements the spices in the masala, which personally wasn’t too spicy but I could see how it could be too spicy for some people. I wish it came with rice but you have to order an extra side of that, but I got rice lying around all the time so it was chill. I get extra so that I can soft scramble some eggs, eat both with some rice, and to me that combo was giving The Kettle brunch which I love. Also, I don't know another place where I can get lamb brain so big plus to them for having it, and I hope that changes cause it's a really cool thing to eat. Their falooda’s very fun, cool textures, kinda sweet though and the big chunk of ice cream made it hard to drink at first. Their lamb curry with rice was also well spiced, the chunks of lamb were super tender, and the rice grains were individual and fluffy. The people running the place are friendly and they’ve always done me right.

Shhh! Don’t tell anyone but they have ThumsUp!!Just ask them if you don’t see it in the Cooler.I love their Daily Specials because everything here is delicious! Everything made fresh to order so worth the 10 minute wait. Their dessert selection is amazing too. Everything is fresh.

I actually made an entire account just to write this, it was that bad. Tried out sizzler kebab after living in King West for the last while, never really had a craving for Indian food until last night and this was the last time I'll ever go there. 13.99+ tax for a tiny portion of butter chicken (see photos) and while the two naans were prepared fresh, it still tasted stale and over cooked. The amount of chicken to gravy ratio was really good I will say. Even though the food was hot, it was ridiculously greasy, to the point where I had to actually take a spoon and get rid of the oil on top of the dish before eating. The 'salad' it came with was a half full box with just lettuce and cucumbers, and one string of raw red onion for some reason. Usually if butter chicken if drowned in oil they are compensating for it not being fresh, or for a lack of flavour. This place was not it for 15 bucks, I'd rather spend a few bucks more and get a platter from the places on Queen St

Compared to the high food prices these days this place is pretty reasonable. Food is very tasty but is often very greasy. Regardless it’s good value for what you pay for it.

I ordered dahi wada and samosa from here. The worst dahi wada I have had in my life, tasteless, yogurt watery, full of excessive amounts of onion. The samosa was super oily, over fried and stale. Awful. My hard earned money should have been spent on better quality and tasting food.

Kabab is so fresh he makes it in front of you and same with the Naan. I'll def be going back for that. As well the samosas are filled with meat which is nice! ( alot of places do half meat Half potatoes ) would def recommend they also have daily specials too if you're on a budget but honestly this place is reasonably priced. Also the man who served me was very nice
