Very nice place. One of the better provincial campgrounds. Just beware, there is absolutely no cell service. You have to drive up to the gas station to get some service.

Very nice campground that is not too far away from the city. The sites are clean and of a decent size with ample space to park two cars and set up two or three tents. Some of the sites have more privacy than others, as well as some having better views (or lack thereof) of the lake, but that is to be expected. The numerous walks, hikes, and beaches means there are plenty of activities to do at the campground and in the provincial park. There are also some playgrounds which are great for small kids. The one major downside is that the pit toilets were horrible. They clearly had not been serviced in far too long. Other than that I had a great time and will return in the future.

The campground itself is fairly nice, and the B Loop was well shaded. However, the site next to us had no less than four vehicles, with multiple tents, people sleeping in their cars, and on cots in the open air. They played amplified music with their car stereos from 9am to 1130pm every day, and the Alberta Parks staff did nothing to rectify the situation, other than remind them that quiet time is 11pm-7am. Nobody should be playing music that loud (could hear it in every site in our B-Loop section) all day, every day. So you might go and have a good experience, but if you have bad neighbours, don't expect the staff to do anything about it.

Great experience. Campground is clean and relatively quiet. We trailer camped. Fresh Water and dump on site. Only electric 30 amp. Spots are long and easy to access. The spots are open and not enclosed by trees. Wood can be purchased on site until 2100hrs. Each space has a firepit. There is a private sand beach next to campground. There is no wifi or phone signal once you are in the campground, so be aware once you are there no one will be getting a hold of you (which is perfect). Water was very nice, warm and free of algae when we were there June 2023.

Came here for labour day, park has lots of open space and its very beautiful but I would not reccomend if you are tenting. Stayed in F211, the campsite was mainly filled with RV's and the lots had little to no trees which allowed no privacy. To reach the showers you have to drive away from the campsite as walking is almost impossible, you also have to pay $1 for two and a half minutes of water usage. The place could use more upkeeping in terms of tidyness. When I arrived friday the place was clean however on monday the outhouses were covered in feces and urine. The showers were clogged with hair and waste such as tampons, soap bar containers etc. I paid extra for a site with an electrical outlet and it was not stated on the webiste that it could only be used with a camping unit. The trails are nice and long if you perfer to hike, lots of space for boating, fishing etc. Dispite he green algae warnings the water was clean and lots of people were enjoying the lake. I feel for the price and inconveience there are better campgrounds out there.

Long Lake Provincial Park was exactly what I expected! The site was perfect for us. Lots of greenage around the site that gave privacy but the beach close enough we could walk (a bit of a hike but manageable for sure). The site was large and clean with a great view of the beach. The staff was helpful and very professional. The beach was the perfect sandy spot to relax and the water was perfect for us to spend most of our time over the 4.5 days we were there. Highly recommend. I'm hopeful the next time we go the concessions and stores are reopened so we could get this ice cream we heard so much about!! We will definitely be back :)

First of all, we were charged $86 for 1 spot for 1 night because we had both a trailer and a tent. Don't see how this makes a difference considering it's going to be the same number of people and the same spot we would be using if we were only 1 sleeping quarter. The place was busy (long weekend so it's expected), but there's is no privacy between campsites at all so be prepared to get friendly with your neighbours and their dogs.Lastly, dogs aren't allowed in the day use area, I get not having them at the beach but seriously they can't even come sit in the grass while we have lunch? And because of this lots of dogs are just left tied up at the campsites whining because their owners are gone. The only positive is the sites were actually a decent size with a grassy area to play games.

My family and I camped here last week and we absolutely loved it. The water was nice and clean in the swin area, but along the shore and walking path the water has green stuff, where we parked our boat close to our camp site. Over all its a beautiful place we enjoyed our stay.

Avoid site A-31 at all costs. The site is parallel to the road so the back of your trailer is within feet of all passing traffic. Also if you do get this site yoy will need an extra long power cable or extension cord. This site also as a great view with no trees or anything of the 2 sites closet to you in the first loop of A.
