I have really enjoyed my visits with both Dr Thompson and Dr Anderson. Very knowledgeable and helpful with my two dogs. However I have had bad experiences with other vets at this clinic and will refuse to book with them. I will gladly wait the extra time to book with Dr Thompson or Dr Anderson. Wait times aren’t too bad and front desk is easy to deal with. The nail clipping was done quite quickly as well.

Last weekend I had to say goodbye to my senior cat, he had kidney failure and went down hill quickly last weekend and our regular vet was closed. This vet hospital was phenomenal through it all, they took me right away. Super kind, compassionate people and you can tell they really care about the animals coming through. They gave me some paw prints and a couple days later I received a hand written card. Thank you so much for everything. If they are accepting new clients I highly recommend, I will be switching my own animals over!!

We had some bad experiences at another Vet Clinic but I am so impressed with this place. The staff are great and my dog was loving all of the attention she was receiving. It was obvious how much they care about their customers (both the two legged and 4 legged kind) and I am so happy that we have switched to coming here.

A few years ago They Misdiagnosed my cat and he was ultimately put to sleep by another vet. This vet cost me over 1500 for a treatment that did not work as promised. We got a second opinion that stated this was the worse possible treatment course and absolutely wouldn't have worked in any case. I highly suggest staying away!

If you’re looking for a vet in Nogojiwanong-Peterborough, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend VCA Jackson Creek! I was initially mislead to believe another clinic in town (High Street Clinic) was the cheapest and “good”. While I never had a bad experience with High Street Clinic, after reading their reviews I transferred my file right away to VCA Jackson Creek.The staff is always so kind and will work very hard to find solutions for you, like finding a different medication brand for my Service Dog because they didn’t have the other one in store and understood I was coming from far away to get the medication. The vets are also really good at not pushing treatment or medication right away, instead they offer more affordable alternatives when possible. One of the vets (I’m sorry, I don’t remember their name!) walked me through everything on paper and made sure I understood everything about the vaccines and was as informed as I could, which is rare to find in a vet. I was a bit put off when another vet made a comment about my Service Dog (they said they thought I just had the gear on for show… my gear is too expensive to be just for show, and I have records certifying my Service Dog), but it wasn’t a big issue—just an unexpected comment that felt a bit invasive. But besides that small thing from a singular vet, 10 out of 10 for VCA Jackson Creek!!!

I can’t say enough about the positive experience I had. I went there for an emergency check up after my yorkie hit her head and was falling over and her eyes were rolling. They saw her quickly, were caring and took time to explain what was happening. And the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this location.
