Port Dover Sands

First time staying and definitely coming back. The cottages are newly renovated. Ours was clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Joelle was very gracious and pleasant to deal with. Kudos to Justin for keeping the pool immaculately clean each and every day. Loved the music too. The beach is just a five minute walk with plenty of options to eat around the corner. There is also a nice view of the pier from the beach.I already recommended Dover Sands cottages to others to come here on their next vacation.

This is a real gem. Great attentive owners who keep the property immaculately. The cottages are spotless, and it seems to attract like minded guests. Everyone we met who was staying there was very nice. My daughter made a friend about her own age which added value to her stay. I highly recommend this as central, convenient to everything and great value for money.

We cannot say enough good things about Port Dover Sands. Our kids loved the pool, we loved the cute cottages and proximity to the beach. The owners are so nice and helpful and make sure everyone feels welcome. 10 out of 10. We can't wait to go back!

We stayed here last week with my family between 2 cottages and what a delightful time we had! Joelle, Justin and Cindy have made this place something truly special with a heated pool, clean cottages, BBQs and a friendly community. We also loved how close it is to the beach and lots of interesting shops within walking distance. Rarely had to use the car! It was a nice relaxing getaway. We have already booked our next summer getaway at Port Dover Sands!

Dover Sands are beautifully decorated cottages ( ours cottage theme is Friday the 13th), they are very clean with pretty manicure grounds. The owners April, Duncan plus their 2 sons are a awesome to deal with. We have been enjoying our stay for the last 6 months. Highly recommend Dover Sands

Stayed at the Sands Cottages for one week (1st May to 8th May 2023) Thanks to Joelle, Cindy and Justin, we had a terrific week. The Cottage was very clean and comfortable and the service was excellent!!

Our family stayed at Dover Sands in cabin #4 for a week in August 2022. The cabin was immaculately clean, furnished well and the beds were very comfy. Joelle and Justin work so hard to make the guest experience amazing. The location was perfect for walking to beach, shops and restaurants.Because we were travelling with kids (7 and 4 yrs) we LOVED the outdoor shower by the pool - such a convenience!Thank you Cindy, Joelle and Justin for a wonderful week in paradise.

I fought back the tears as I was leaving on July 23, 2022. My husband was sad. We really hated to leave. What a wonderful family who as owners can't do enough for their guests to make them feel welcome. Our cottage was close to everything 'beachy', with the waterfront one block away. This is a very walkable community, with friendly people regardless of whether they are residents or just visiting Port Dover. Our cottage: well equipped. The pool is carefully cared for and the grounds are maintained very well. We have already booked our cottage for a week for next year. Port over some nice summer retreat 7000 people mostly retirees not much in the towns you feel like a quiet town with a one main Street suits me fine so I might end up moving there although it's not my real honest choice because my wife seems to want to retire by the lake so that's a nice spot I guess within an hour and a half to hour drive from Toronto but there's not much things to do in Port over so you going to end up probably driving further out more than I do here and Richmond Hill where everything's around..

The cottages at Dover Sands are very clean and efficient. Three adults shared a unit with ample space. Dover Sands is located a short walk to the beach and Main Street; so convenient. The pool is super clean with music; a great alternative to the beach. The new owners are friendly, professional, and responsive to your needs. We will definitely return to enjoy the facility.
