Had it not been for Alicia, our vision of our wedding would not have been so perfectly realized. We had grand ambitions and hardly any experience to know how to make it a reality, so we knew we needed a wedding planner. We felt very fortunate we had found Alicia and that she was available to help us.With her experience and confidence in navigating through wedding events, she immediately set us on a track, guiding us in every way we needed. She was a reassuring and trustworthy voice when we were anxious or confused or feeling overwhelmed with all the tasks that are involved in wedding planning. She even pulled some miracles that day. She was always upfront and honest and sensitive to our feelings. It was a pleasure to work with her, and as we got to know her more month to month, by the day of our wedding, we had complete trust and faith in her capabilities and she was a supportive and familiar presence among the company gathered. Alicia at Beyond the Decor did an unbelievable job on our wedding. Quite frankly, I have no clue how on earth we could have done it without her. While I had a great time planning my wedding myself for the first few months, after a little while it starts to get exhausting as if you are working two full-time jobs. That was when Alicia became a superhero and savior to both my fiance and I. We were tired of making all the decisions and everyone asking us questions, calling and needing to talk about something with the wedding. Enough we said and we got Alicia!Brides, let me tell you, the rehearsal is SUPER important and if we didn't have Alicia there, we would have totally wasted everyone's time and had no clue what we were doing. Alicia ran the entire event and ensured that everyone was paying attention and following directions. The day of your wedding, you want to get married and do nothing else. I know for me personally, I was pampered in that I got my hair and makeup done, I got dressed and the nerves kicked in. Alicia was there offering me a drink, keeping my MOH in the loop and not doing anything to stress me out. When our ceremony and photos took less time than expected due to the weather changing, Alicia was on top of it and contacted the caterers to see if we could push dinner up earlier.As the night went on and I was dancing and having fun with my loved ones, Alicia was tidying up and ensuring that everything was accounted for and taken care of. Honestly, I cannot say enough about how critical it is to have someone at the very least for the day of your wedding and the rehearsal. Alicia was a key piece on our wedding day and rehearsal. I didn't think we needed a wedding rehearsal but she insisted in doing it. We had a rather large wedding entourage and if it weren't for the rehearsal, it would've been a gong show on the day of. She ran the wedding rehearsal flawlessly. Keeping everybody informed.She was keeping close eye on the day-of timeline ensuring the kitchen, my MCs, the DJ, the entourage, the groom, myself (bride), my parents, everybody! were on the right place at the right time. She even gave me water from time to time.Leading up to the wedding day was also crucial and Alicia asked questions I never thought of asking myself.I recommend to hire a day-of coordinator and highly recommend to hire Alicia.

Alicia is amazing to work with. She made the day go so smoothly. My family enjoyed working with her. She stayed positive through the whole experience, making her a joy to work with and alleviating stress. Our MC and her worked as a perfect team to keep things moving smoothly, and even ahead of schedule. She set our head table up beautifully. Recommend, recommend!!!

Alicia did a phenomenal job at coordinating our wedding. She was very personable and worked well with my family, wedding party, vendors and guests. Her attention to detail is great and her ability to catch and execute our vision for the wedding was so comforting to us. Alicia was wonderful to work with. We hired her to be our 'day of organizer '. Alicia was flexible with our meetings and gave great advice.We had a large wedding party and she ran the rehearsal with ease. Alicia was our day of wedding coordinator for our wedding at the Calgary zoo. Alicia was incredibly helpful every step of the way from advising us on our schedule to running our wedding rehearsal and managing every aspect of our wedding so we could focus on enjoying our big day! It's clear from working with her that she's very experienced and understands the industry really well. As our coordinator, she was the primary contact for all our vendors (i.e. decorator, florist, caterer, etc.) but also helped out with some of the set up where needed so we could rest easy knowing that everything was being handled the way we wanted. Alicia also did an amazing job executing the ceremony. At the reception, the bustle broke on my wedding dress and Alicia hustled to track down safety pins to pin up my dress. She's not only resourceful but thoughtful. Our wedding day would have not been the same if Alicia wasn't there to help us! Thanks Alicia!!

Alicia from Beyond the Decor is an absolutely amazing planner. She is incredibly organized!! When we've worked with her, she has kept everything running smoothly and on time. Most weddings tend to run late and have lots of little things that go wrong, but not Alicia's weddings! We've seen her deal with everything from decor fiasco's (the decor company set up the wrong centerpieces and Alicia had it fixed before the bride even set foot in the room!) to managing large wedding parties and making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. She's incredible and, as wedding photographers, we love to recommend her services to our clients because it makes the day so much easier for them!
