Called a total of 5 times on August 23rd, 2022 and got no answer, ended up late to work because I had to resort to taking the bus. Don't waste your time, plan ahead if you want a reliable ride.

The dispatcher was excellent! But they only had one driver on. We called in advance and they said they could get us. They ended up running late and with that we would have only been able to stay at the event for 45mins before we would have been able to take the last cab and go home. And then they called again and just cancelled on us totally.

This is a 24 7 365 days a year service yet not once I have even had themPick up their phone while trying to get a morning ride to the ferry !! Horrible advertising saying 24 7 and literally after my 3 rd morning trying to organize a ride …I still haven’t even had them pick up the phone !!! Use zunga when you can , the guy running this taxi service in Powell river is useless !

The drivers are always friendly and get you where you need to go. I've had mixed experiences with dispatch. The last time I called the woman I spoke with was incredibly rude and dismissive. I was asking for pick-up at a particular time which she said was not possible (totally fine, I understand that they don't have many drivers) but wow, she was just so rude about it.

The website states 24/hr service 365 days a year. This morning my partner was trying to make it to the 8:05 ferry to comox. First call was at 6am no answer. She called numerous times between 6am and 7am. I'm at work and I even called twice. Finally they answered the phone. The dispatcher was very rude to her, even swearing at her when she was trying to tell them what our address was. They said that a cab woupd be there to pick her up at 7:40, they even reiterated to her that she would make the 8:05 ferry. 7:45am no cab still. She calls back the dispatcher again very rude to her. Tells her that all the cabs are booked, and he told her 8:40 and not 7:40. Even after being told she would make the ferry. Very unprofessional would not ever use this company.

So not only do they forget to call you back but they give an estimate time that always varies so you never know when, they will only call once, and not honk. Saying because I missed it I can’t use a cab again tonight. I don’t even live that far from town. The dispatcher lady sounds rude to be honest. Like what if I was drunk and decided to drive because you turned me down?

I ordered a taxi in advance, for my daughter, from Harbour Air on Powell Lake to the Westview ferry terminal. The dispatcher was very professional and concise. The taxi was waiting for her at least 5 min before the requested time, which was a really nice touch. The driver was very understanding of our need to get to the ferry asap, but couldn't make any promises. He actually made a call to the ferry team asking for a couple min delay so she could catch it and drove her safely on time! Above and beyond service for both taxi company and ferry personnel!

The information on the google info and website are completely wrong. For people who would like to know, they typically open around 7:30am and stop service at around 11pm. They take forever to show up unless you've planned your day out and called ahead of time. Typically an attitude with the person on the other end, so just be straight to the point and it should go well. This business should fix their online profile to fit their actual services. Its runned by an old man so I doubt he knows how to even fix the website. I hope this helps anyone who is looking for the real information online, and hopefully the main business sees this and fixes all their online profiles to give the right information. Because they are no longer a 24/7 service, which certainly causes drunk driving, which is absolutely terrible... Thanks for your read
