We always ordered from Orly and we always loved it but not this time.. Not sure what happened to this place.. Food was terrible.. Shawarma was a bunch of chunks of chicken breast, it was dry and tasteless..The shawarma sandwich barely had any meat in it.. It was stuffed with salad and on the very top there was chicken to make it look like it was stuffed with chicken. Lentil soup was basically a clear broth and just a little bit of lentil at the bottom. Almost tasted like it was watered down to give us the two orders we asked for. Really unfortunate!

I LOVED their shawarma!I don't know why some bad reviews are here, but mine was absolutely tasty, with a lot of meat/vegs...These days, shawarma got so pricy everywhere, but this place is one of these still remaining low prices.Don't judge by the atmosphere... I would definitely back!

Just ordered there small shawarma dinner for myself and pita shawarma for my daughter and everything very delicious! The place is clean, but will benefit with more stuff, as never before I saw such a big place where the same person doing everything! Reading a previous comment I feel very sorry for a nice lady that works there, she was packing pick ups when we came and I had to wait, watching her finishing packing. Dear owner, please invest in your workers, hire help or pay higher salary, it will pay you back.

If you want to eat here, avoid this place. I was lucky" enough to work here for a few hours and was shocked by the unsanitary conditions of the place. The refrigerator where the barbecue meat is stored is in a terrible state

We have been going to this place since 2016, and it never disappoints. Tonight we arrived at 9pm and still, they accepted us eventhough they close at 9:30pm. They didn’t do any shortcuts, they served our food with the same preparation that they always do. Fresh and hot and perfect. Yael was very pleasant and was always smiling eventhough she might have been exhausted already. We really appreciated not being turned away, hence, this review. I have never tasted a better Shawarma than this. We moved to Mississauga a few years ago but whenever we are in North York, this is where we always wanted to eat. The chicken was so tender, rice was warm and soft, roasted potatoes are crunchy on the outside but soft in the inside, veggies complement the meal and the garlic sauce!! Yum! The best Shawarma in North York! Very highly recommended, you won’t regret it!

First and foremost, I just ordered from here and the food was incredible for the price. Super flavourful! Really hit the spot.But my motivation for this review is a response to an earlier review by ‘Coffee Milk’. I wish we could reply to other reviews, because I would let them know that as someone with a ton of experience as a chef for reputable restaurants, the pictures that they showed are nothing but a normal kitchen in the midst of service, and are a malicious attempt at discrediting this establishment. I just felt like I had to say something in the case that someone sees that review and chooses to not eat here - they would truly be missing out!

It was affordable , the food was decent , the heated pita wasn’t heated , it took a long time to cook which is okay because it was fresh . The garlic sauce was good but no milk for the coffee was a one star deduction . It’s a decent spot just not a showstopper . Shawarma wrap is your best bet . Ingredients were fresh .

Very homey vibes here as it was my first time but I’ve had tons of shawarma before and this time was one of the best, here’s why:Starting from being greeted with such politeness and a welcoming atmosphere, I already knew I was going to enjoy the food. It gives me soul food vibes because it’s not a chain / franchise and those are the best because they care about the quality they provide and serve.My portion was huge and loaded even though it was just a regular shawarma wrap; What made me enjoy it more is that other shawarma places usually stuff the wrap with potatoes and rice as fillers to make you full but this place was pure protein and veg which I love as it shows that they don’t cheap out on the portioning!I’m very surprise this place doesn’t have more traffic at a more busier time such as 5pm but nonetheless, the server was so fun and positive to talk to as she was relating to me and my significant other. She didn’t have to serve us table side but the extra service gave this full stars!I’ll definitely be back in the future with more friends and family!

This used to be my go to shawarma place. Hadn’t gone in about 3 years after moving and I decided to go back recently. The food was not as good as before. The chicken was over cooked. The salad looked bad. The lettuce was old and browning. The vegetables were mushy and discoloured. I did not eat it. Maybe it’s just a one time occurrence but it didn’t feel like it was worth it to travel half an hour for this. I would go if it was the closest shawarma place to me and would tell them to skip the salad and I’d make my own. The service was good. And the atmosphere is good too.

The fries and the borscht was good. Everything else was terrible.Falafel were rock hard, lamb was dry, garlic sauce was mostly ranch, lentil soup was mostly water.There was no soap in the restaurant,- wondering how employees wash hands after using the washroomThe floor was quite sticky and we were the first customer of the day!
