This is one of those great little shops with amazing staff. Ariel (I hope I spelled it right) isone of those amazing people. The store didn’t have the food I needed for my Maggie Mae. Arielgot on the phone, found a store and asked them to hold a bag for me. This is what puts some people above and beyond. To the owners of K & K, you should be so proud to have an employee treats people that way. The world could use more Ariel’s.Cheers!Eric and Maggie Mae

Live 2 blocks from here.1st visit in early July, asked about which cat food is a good one (I already knew, wanted to see if they were honest, I was looking to switch foods). Tried to steer me to something that wasn't as good as others, I assume there is more kickback in it.Anyways, when I came back a few weeks later, I was told that if my cats don't like the food I can return it. It turns out they didn't like it, so I brought it back and asked to exchange it for the same brand, different regional food (Acana brand). He seemed hesitant, and asked if the bag had been opened. Ummm, yes of course it has been???He did the exchange, and I was going to put the difference on my credit card, but he asked if I had cash (again, figured it was because he makes more by doing so), so I complied and paid in cash. After the exchange, as I was leaving, the guy said no more returns" to me. Excuse me? My cats may not like this one either...it's not like I'm returning it

I love this place. They know what they're talking about and recommending. Best of all, they don't pressure you into making purchases like other places.I feel very at ease. They just legitimately want to help you!! I'll def be coming back.

With so many large pet supply chains, it's nice to have a small, locally owned store.The staff is friendly and always helpful.The prices can be a little higher then some of the larger chains, but I would rather give the money to a small business then to a larger location.

Attempted to charge me 14% more money then the sticker price. When I objected, gentleman working told me that only chain stores are required to honour the sticker price and due to inflation, independent retailers can charge you any amount above the sticker price. Not true and you've permanently lost a customer.

Love this pet store!!! It’s amazing, the owner is so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy the different options and variety. I definitely give this place a five star!!! Good job guys!

Stopped in tonight and was browsing types of cat litter. We may be adopting a cat in the near future, which I said to the owner. He was friendly and super knowledgeable about all the newer types of cat litter. Great service. Thank you! I will be back.

I decided to check out K & K to check out their selection. I usually love supporting independent stores and leave their stores with something small. But they hired this really creepy dude that just stalks your every move... I tried having a conversation about my animals to see if maybe he had any recommendations - but he stayed awkward and quiet. Did not feel welcome here and probably won't return because of how uncomfortable I felt.

Very helpful staff. We bought the wrong dog food, and they let us exchange it for the correct one with no hassles - even though we'd opened it. It's nice to have the personal touch of a local store, and the prices are on par with the big stores, and some items cheaper, so there's no real reason to drive to central Langley.

Amazing, so many different brands to choose.
