Restaurant Narval

5 étoiles pour la gentillesse du personnel ainsi que la qualité du repas.Le chef est venu s'asseoir à notre table et nous a proposé une alternative végétarienne; un geste très apprécié.Tous les services étaient délicieux.

Frankly, the meal we had at the Narval is part of my palmares of the best meals I had ever had. The fact that you can bring your own wine makes it even better has you can up the wine level without paying another 300$. The service was also excellent, these folks have a sprezzatura which shows they are in control. Will certainly come back!

We decided to stop by this cute town of Rimouski and while we were researching Narval came up as one of the best restaurants here. It was also recommended by our Airbnb host as a place that uses local ingredients. I was lucky to get a reservation due to some last minute cancellation. At the restaurant, the chef (I believe it was the chef) came over to say that “looks like you were able to get a reservation” bc I had put my name on the waiting list. So do no that if you want to drink alcohol here that it’s Bring Your Own Wine. The staff wasn’t sure if we knew since we weren’t locals and I think the chef offered us beer that he got for us. That was so nice but my husband didn’t want to drink as he wanted to make sure he would be okay to drive and then make sure I’m ok because of my injured foot he declined. But we hope they were not offended. We had really appreciated the gesture!Now on to the food. It was AMAZING and so delicious! The presentation was absolutely beautiful. The flavors were well balanced. The food was very fresh. We even tried the snails — that was interesting :) My husband has eaten snails before but it was my first time.The staff was very friendly :)Definitely recommend!

Experience extraordinaire!

Cela faisait déjà deux ans que j'ai essayé d'avoir une réservation à ce restaurant... et l'attente valait le coût!!J'ai choisi le menu 5 services et le rapport qualité-prix était excellent!L'utilisation des produits locaux tel que le bon pain chaud qui provenait du boulanger du coin m'a charmé.Puis le chef qui est venu expliquer les ingrédients qui composaient son entrée, la fine herbe qui donnait la touche finale avait été cueilli par son petit garçon cet après-midi là. Quelle belle attention!Seul bémol, le dessert était un peu trop important pour un fin de repas.Merci et bonne continuité!

Une expérience au delà de mes attentes et elles étaient élevées. D'une part, l'accueil est chaleureux, le personnel attentif, passionné et serviable. Les plats sont époustouflants. Autant la présentation que les textures et les saveurs. Le chef prend le temps de discuter avec nous. Tout était parfait!

Une des plus belles expériences culinaires de toute ma vie. Le chef et son équipe sont modestes, sympathiques, passionnés et talentueux. C’était complètement succulent. On reviendra !

Meilleur restaurant depuis vraiment longtemps !
