Eagle River B&B

This place is a hidden gem that needs to be experienced by all! Not only do you get amazing hosts in Mary and Josh, you get a beautiful room, amazing food and the property does not disappoint! Want to sit in peace? Enjoy a cup of coffee beside the pond or river. Want some activity? Grab the kayak or paddle board and tackle the river! Want to socialize? Grab a drink and sit on the common deck. This place has it all. I spent 10 glorious days there and every minute was magical. In all honesty, this was my first B and B experience but the bar was set very high by Mary and Josh. If you enjoy B and Bs then you MUST stay here!

This is a fabulous and inviting bed and breakfast with the most gracious hosts Mary and Josh. The haven they have worked so hard to create is spectacular. It can be as relaxing or as active as you want it to be. Mary responded to all my questions so promptly and our stay could not have been better. We were welcomed with a board of delicious snacks and fruit, the breakfasts are delicious, cooked with the freshest ingredients and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. There are many areas to enjoy including a guest kitchen area with fridge for your perishables should you need it.Look no further and book your stay; you will reap the best of the best. I found this place using google maps because of the location, the right distance between the Rockies and the Okanagans. The owners have been here only a couple of years and have been doing a tremendous amount of work to make the garden beautiful and inviting. It's right on the Eagle River. We walked around the property but did not have time to go on a canoe or kayak ride down the river, which would have been lots of fun.Our room was large and comfortable with great natural lighting. We were the only guests so it was quiet and peaceful. The common rooms downstairs included a large fully supplied kitchen with several tables, and a nice living room. There were lovely bay windows looking out over the garden. We also had good wifi connections.Breakfast was optional, and we opted in, which was definitely a good choice. We had omelets filled with fresh vegetables from their garden, homemade breads, and fruit.The place is out of the way, I'm glad we had google maps to give us directions, it's about 15 minutes to the nearby town.

A lovely place to stay in this beautiful lakes area in central BC. Josh and Mary are gracious and interesting hosts, rooms are comfortable, and breakfast delicious. We didn’t sample the garden - it was raining throughout - but that looks fun too.

We arrived at Eagle River B&B on Halloween. It was a real treat! It is located a few km outside of Sicamous, beautiful wooded area next to the river. We were greeted with a smile, Josh and Mary are great hosts. Our room was attractively decorated, accented with some local driftwood. On top of the dresser were 2 large bottles of water, fresh baked cookies and cake and even some Halloween treats. We had a good night's sleep, everything was very quiet.In the morning we were offered a choice of breakfasts, we chose a farmers breakfast. I don't think we ever had a better breakfast at a restaurant. Freshly shredded hashbrowns, 2 thick slices of bacon, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, toast and a variety of fruit. We had to leave early, Josh and Mary had are breakfast ready on time. Overall a great experience!

We were welcomed by very friendly and helpful hosts. The room was beautiful, clean and you could enjoy delicious homemade snacks. The tour of the garden was a big WOW. So peaceful and relaxing. The big breakfast was delicious. Thank you Mary and Josh for for sharing this beautiful place.

This place is just absolutely stunning! The views are incredible the food is delicious and the owners are just lovely! I highly recommend adding this to your bucket list! Trust me you will not be disappointed! It truly is a wonderful place to escape

We recently stayed two nights with Mary and Josh in their Deck Room. We were in Sicamous for a grandson's hockey tournament. It was so lovely to return to the cottage"

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this fine B&B. Owners, Mary and Josh, have done an excellent job to ensure our visit was superb. The location is awesome, food was great.. and the hospitality … EXCELLENT. My only regret.. we just stayed one night!!We look forward to a return visit!!
