Coast Appliances - Vancouver

After 31 years of faithful service, I finally needed to replace my stackable washer/dryer. I didn’t know where to begin, but after hearing the very effective radio ads, I decided to start with Coast Appliances. I went online, looked around, and took advantage if their ‘chat’ option to speak with a representative. I had my measurements ready, and after asking many, many questions, I felt comfortable enough to order the unit that was recommended. Richard Hoffman at Coast was wonderful, and he was patient with my inexperience. He took care of everything for me, and arranged for delivery, hookup and removal of my old machine. It was the easiest and stress free purchase of a major appliance I have ever experienced. Thank you Richard, and thank you Coast Appliances. I highly recommend Coast Appliances.

Run Far!!! Run FAST!!! Probably the single worst experience I have ever had with a company EVER!!! Got a new washer and dryer delivered with a broken dryer. Coast Appliances Refused to take the broken dryer back and replace it. Refused to offer immediate service or to return out previously working dryer. 2 weeks later all we get are messages telling us to contact Whirlpool as it is now our problem. Absolute Worst Customer Service ever encountered. Save your sanity and but Anywhere Else!!!!! If you end up talking to Melvin just know all he cares about is the sale. You will get no other service!!!

Fred Z at Coast was the best!Firstly their website is fantastic, it allows you to input all the dimensions of your current wall oven which generates compatible options. This really allowed me to research the brands and models before going in to the store and it saves so much time! Their online chat option is great. I communicated with a gentleman (I think it was Melvin) and he was able to assure me that the new wall oven would fit appropriately. He really took the stress out of this experience. The oven was for my 84 yr old mother (she’s not a fan of computers so our options were limited). The next day (Saturday) we’re turned up at Coast where we met Fred as soon as we entered the premises. We never felt pressured, he was knowledgeable, thoughtful of the needs of my mother, efficient, pleasant to work with and he also helped us arrange the installation. We were contacted that weekend by the installation team and by Tuesday at lunch we had a beautiful new wall oven!The installation team were equally impressive. They were prompt, friendly, respectful of her home, completed the installation with no damage to the existing cabinets or floors. The entire team was exceptional! Thank you Coast! Especially Fred!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! They will happily take your money but when it comes time to ask for refund you will have to chase them repeatedly and even then full refund is never guaranteed, they will deduct your money under made up policies.Good luck trying to reach anyone at this company , left several messages, email for the manager but no one ever calls you back. I purchased thousands of dollars worth of appliances but will never go back to them. They are unethical and have terrible customer service, I will never do business with them.I will highly recommend everyone to take their business elsewhere, there are much better and ethical appliance companies out there. I ended up buying my appliances from CAS and Costco for much better price and service, saved me hundreds of dollars ,time and headache.

I was looking at the web site and decided to chat with the online sales agent. Regrettably I do not remember his name. He asked the right questions and handled a difficult installation professionally. My issue was that my countertop is designed to be lower than standard so the dishwasher installation was to be a challenge. He recommended Amil from Home Valley. Great job done by all, Thanks.

Thanks Coast Appliances for the wonderful products and services! One of their very best sales associates, Timothy Fan provided me professional and knowledgeable advices that really helped me choosing the right appliances. I bought a dishwasher, a fridge and a range hood that I love a lot. The delivery crews were also highly credited for their carefulness and friendliness. I would rate 10 stars if I were allowed to do so.

The delivery individuals were helpful and respectful (thank you Rick and Tyson). Very good care taken on the delivery of the new fridge and removal of the old fridge and what the next steps were.

I usually don't write google reviews, but after the experience I just had with this store I can't not write one. This is by far, the worse customer service experience I have had in my life. I will never use this store again, and would highly recommend staying away from their business. I called Trail Appliances instead and just spent $1200 there. All because the salesman at Coast was too lazy to help and and instead wanted me to come into the store without any assurance that they had the product I needed. Basically he was just not willing to go to any effort for a $1200 sale.Whenever a business treats you like an annoyance, instead of a customer who pays their wages, stay well clear! Unbelievable how arrogant and dis-interested they are. It has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I will now actively discourage anyone I know from going there. If there was an option for less-than a one star review they would not even get one star.

Our salesman Ricky assisted us for our full house renovation. He patiently assisted us going through most of our concerns. I definitely will refer him to my families/friends for any future purchase! Hope this review can be directed to him and his manager. Thank you! :)

I really appreciate the customer service it was next level and the best service I have ever received for buying appliances. Coast is now my go to store for any appliances needed.It could not have been any easier best end to end service .I purchased a Samsung Bespoke fridge. Coast service made the fridge available asap and their delivery team is next level.The fridge after 1 week is awesome and so stylish and easy to use.
