Spent an awesome couple of days in the scenic little town of Bamfield. Sharon and Scott made us feel right at home the moment we arrived at their beautiful B and B. breakfast was excellent with a variety of food to choose from. Fishing was so much fun, and watching the eagles atop the trees ready to swoop down and grab your fish was amazing. We are planning a return trip but for longer next time. We highly recommend Shasco Ventures for the experience of a lifetime.

Sharon and Scott were so thoughtful and welcoming! Our stay at their beautiful bed and breakfast made the two hour drive down a gravel road worth it. Our room was clean and cozy, and had a great view. They were so helpful in making sure we had a great time, whether it was helping us get the campfire, BBQ, or sauna going, or giving directions to unbelievably beautiful beaches. My friends and I highly recommend Shasco ventures in Bamfield!

Sharon and Scott made our little family trip complete. They opened their home completely to us and made us feel as though we were at home.We were 8 in total, ( 3 brothers and families) and we had the most enjoyable 4 days, more than any of us anticipated.Plenty of walks, hikes, fishing, chilling on the deck, hot tub, sauna and fireside hangouts.We had it all!They were such a delight to be around, it was as though they were an extension of our crazy family!Don't shy away if you have kids, there is PLENTY for the little ones to do as well. My son was 7 and his cousin was 4 and they were non stop the entire time.Thank you Sharon and Scott for suck a memorable visit!Look forward to seeing you again soon!Leslie

If you find yourself looking for accommodations in Bamfield, do yourself a favor and stay at Shasco Ventures. My friend and I stayed here for a few nights and had a fantastic time. Sharon and Scott are wonderful hosts, they truly went above and beyond for us, making sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable time adventuring around Bamfield. The delicious breakfasts, cozy beds, fresh baked cookies, sauna, hot tub and sassy chickens made our trip an exceptional and memorable experience. Thank you Sharon and Scott!

Just got home from an amazing stay at Shasco B&B. What a wonderful experience. Sharon and Scott are absolutely spectacular hosts; they go the extra mile to make sure you have anything you could possibly want and then some. Our stay was packed full of adventures, amazing food and some relaxation in the hot tub in their outdoor oasis. The community in Bamfield is like no other. Everyone we met was so kind and friendly. This is an outdoor experience I would HIGHLY recommend and definitely will be back soon. There is so much to do outdoors from hiking, kayaking, sightseeing and boating. The accommodations are beautiful and they have really made it a home away from home (only with better food!). Thank you again Sharon and Scott, it was a fantastic experience! Hope to see you soon!

Wonderful hosts that really went above and beyond in the brief time that we spent with them. Incredibly flexible and welcoming, they helped facilitate a short but memorable tour of Bamfield for us on the evening before we were to hike the West Coast Trail.

Spent three fantastic days at Shasco B and B. Sharon and Scott are wonderful hosts and lovely, fun people! They made us feel like family and opened their home to us with all it's amenities. Sharon and Scott took us out for a paddle during the August full moon where we listened to a pod of humpbacks at the mouth of Bamfield Inlet. We do a lot of kayaking on the east coast of Vancouver Island but the kayaking from Bamfield is truly spectacular - we did day trips to Topaltos Beach and the Deer Group of Islands where we saw the humpback pod we had been listening to the previous night. We took our own kayaks and SUPs but Shasco has great equipment available for rent. Unfortunately our stay was only 3 days long and we'd love to go back to add some fishing to our adventure.

Our tour guide for the sunset tour, Scott, was very knowledgeable and friendly! The tour included an amazing package of adventurous activities that were knew to our whole group. It was an unforgettable experience for us and I'd recommend it to everyone visiting the area.

Stayed at the ShaSco House a week ago. Wow what an awesome place. The hosts Scott and Sharon were wonderful. Very nice room, comfortable beds , very quiet house except for the mornings when all the many birds are telling you to get up and enjoy the day. There was a variety of delicious breakfasts each morning and Sharon is a wealth of information on hikes or directions to beautiful lakes where we did take our SUPB’s. Make sure to walk the boardwalk on the West side. Very pretty and interesting walk along the harbour to the store and post office.There are 2 water taxis for hire. We did a hike to Brady’s beach ( on the other side as well) worth seeing and exploring that beach. If you’re brave and skillful climb up to the bench high on the rock to check out the view. We were introduced to bocce on the beach which we did at Pachena Beach. The hosts have the game to borrow. Also enjoyed a sunset boat ride and a fishing excursion. We caught fish, saw bald eagles, sea lions, a Bear !! There was a hot tub and a cool sauna for our use plus they have 7 friendly hens in the yard. ( usually penned but have a daily run free)We had fresh eggs for breakfast. It isn’t Tofino, it’s a long way from Tofino in every way but it was definitely worth the 2 hour + logging road drive to reach there. If you are into hilly little out of the way places with gorgeous scenery and enjoy nature this is where you should be heading. We will be returning !!

We were so impressed with Sharon & Scott! They were very communicative, resourceful, helpful and so kind. Their home is beautiful, their equipment was top tier, they were so well prepared, they provided detailed instructions and they were such kind individuals. You can tell they genuinely care a lot about their clients/customers having a great time. We will absolutely be back!
