Glimpse of Adventure - Banff Elopement Wedding Photographer

Martina is the most pleasant, talented and friendly photographer you will come across. She also recovered our photos for us 2 years after we lost them!!!We had worked with many photographers during our wedding festivities between 2019-2021. We hired Martina to photograph our honeymoon at the Fairmont Banff Springs. Right off the bat we liked her because we were running late and she made no issue of it, just happily waited for us in the lobby. From that point on, we had such a comfortable and friendly time with her! She is clearly a very talented photographer. Another memorable moment was when the photography time ended, she was in no hurry to leave! She was not the type of photographer who was watching the clock. Instead she was having a great time hanging out with us!The kicker was 2 years after this shoot, I lost all the photos because I hadn’t backed them up. My husband contacted Martina on whim to see if she maybe had them and even though she was traveling in Europe, she took the time to respond to us and send us our entire gallery! We were over the moon. Martina is honestly the best! You will not regret your time with her!

Martina was an integral part of our planning and preparation as well as an amazing photographer. She captured the most authentic and candid moments which we get to remember the most important day of our lives by. Her step by step guidance and wisdom helped curate the most intimate morning and ceremony. I can't express how much we enjoyed working with Martina. She is a gifted photographer but beyond that, she is such a special person! She spent a great deal of time getting to know us and getting a sense of what we wanted our day to be like. Her personal guide on planning the perfect elopement, with vendor recommendations included, was extremely helpful since we were coming from Washington state. She was always quick to reply to our questions via text, email, or phone. The day of our wedding was perfection. Martina calmed our nerves, helped us get comfortable behind the camera, and was just an all-around lovely presence. As a couple from Wisconsin, Martina was  a great resource to help us figure out what we where doing, and where to go without seeming overly pushy. She helped us plan our Elopment by offering a list of places and lodging. Since my wife and I didn't exactly know what we wanted to do this was very helpfull and helped us way different options.On our big day, Martina was amazing! She wasn't  overly directing but still gave us goofballs rough guides that we could choose to follow. She was there to document us naturally, not pose us like mannequins.We love the pictures we recieved!! My wife and I and both of our moms kept looking through them for a few days. The pictures beautifully captured our day and the fun we had. The pictures were gorgeous and some even looked like Google wallpapers, which shows her good eye.We appreciated the heck out of Martina's knowledge of the area and how well she was able to be realistic about what to expect.  For example my wife and I planned a November wedding and Martina was very open about how unpredictable the weather could be during this time of year. She even show us different pictures of past years so we had an idea of what to expect.  She is a great guide for the area and for people who don't know Banff at all. She gave us all the information but it wasn't overwhelming, and she balanced out what we wanted and her knowledge of the area, helping narrow down what we wanted. We were treated like friends not like a customer.Overall Martina is soooo worth checking out because she is so gosh darn good at being helpfull on your big day. She made things really easy and stress free. From planing our trip with us to figuring out how/where/when to get our documents and after our wedding day, Martina was so caring and helpful through it all. She captured the magic of our day really well, you can tell in the photos that none of it is fake, as we are genuinely smiling in each picture and we had a blast.

Martina was awesome during our wedding planning and on our wedding day. She was super helpful sending us all the possible locations based on our preferences. She checked with us regularly to make sure all the planning is going all right and was even willing to move our wedding by one day because of bad weather forecast. We ended up having the wedding on the original date and Martina took beautiful and unique pictures for us. We have so many great pictures that we can't choose which ones to print :)

Martina is absolutely the best photographer in the entire world!My husband and I got married last August in the Canadian Rockies.We are an Italian couple who decided to arrange a completely intimate elopement very far from home. You can imagine that we could have a lot of doubts and fears about our wedding day! My husband and I knew we wanted to elope in the Rocky Mountains but were unsure of how and where to start. I found Martina online and knew right away just from reading her website and looking at previous couple’s photos that she would be exactly who we needed. When we first met on zoom my gut was absolutely right. Martina helped us to make our day so special and captured exactly what we had wanted. She knows the perfect places for the most beautiful photos. She went at our pace and when we were getting too tired at the end of the day it was no big deal to stop early because she had captured more than enough photos. She also had our entire wedding album done and edited a couple days before she said would be the earliest we would get them! Everyone we know is absolutely awestruck at how gorgeous our wedding photos are. Martina is absolutely someone you want by your side on your wedding day to capture those beautiful moments. We did both engagement and wedding photos with Martina and had an amazing time. She is professional yet relaxed, and provided great guidance and input to help us overcome our awkwardness in front of the camera. We had so much fun and our photos were gorgeous. We can't recommend Martina enough!

As the father of the bride, we were looking to have a small family wedding at a remote location and wow did Martina come through for us. We dodged a few rain showers and a couple of rumbles of thunder, but the location was absolutely perfect and the weather added to the photography and allowed us to have the lake to ourselves. Martina's assistance with the entire process was amazing and her photography is absolutely stunning. We would do it all again in a heartbeat. Thanks again Martina.
