Sherwood Park Log Cabin

We just had our reception at the Sherwood Park Log Cabin and it was perfect for what we were looking for. We had around 75 people and it fit us perfectly. It was easy to decorate as it required very little. It was also great having the hall Friday to Sunday to allow for set up and take down the day before and after the wedding. I would highly recommend this venue.

This was a nice venue for our event. The lighting was good, the sound system worked well. The kitchen was functional for the caterers with ample fridge space and sinks. The bathrooms were good, although bigger would have been better, like more stalls rather than just one. Overall, a good venue for the size of our group (60).

We rented the log cabin for our wedding! Christine was very pleasant to work with and quick to respond with any questions. The hall is nice and can be easily spruced into a gorgeous venue! It was perfect for my covid wedding!

Okay facility. Not all that easy to get to but shows up on most mapping apps just fine. Lots of parking, interior is nothing special but it works for meetings or receptions and the like. Don't know what it rents for but at the right price it is worth looking at.

Talked to Christine about renting the hall for an event. I was interrupted mid-sentence while she answered a whole other call. I listened to the whole call, and was not put on hold. Extremely unprofessional.Was denied access to her" facility as it was a 21st birthday celebration. Assumed we were going to damage "her" facility

Dated but serviceableRented the hall for an evening for a family gathering, about 70 people, $425. It's old and pretty much just an unadorned but homey big square box. All services (kitchen, plug ins, toilets and most but not all of the lights) are quite workable. Up to you to supply whatever decorations and atmosphere you can. No PA system --- supply your own (that was OK with us).Like another reviewer we found the hall rental co-ordinator's manner brusque. In her defence let me say that we did throw her a curve: forgot we had committed to cleaning up the night of the event, thought we had till noon the morning after. At the time we felt she had over reacted when she found our clean-up crew there in the morning. But, in the end she did refund our damage deposit.
