The Comic Room

I've been coming to the Comic Room for since the fall of 2022, and each time is a great experience.  Today was especially great, and I just hope to express my gratitude for you and for Zack.Today, I came in to pick up ANOTHER special-ordered copy of Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin, a birthday gift for my twin brother.  When I came to pick it up, Zack expressed some concern and apology, remembering that I ordered one previously (for myself), and wasn't sure what happened to it, and was relieved to hear this was a second order.  Of course he made no mistake, but the quality of memory of customers at the Comic Room is what really makes this stand out. He then made sure I went home with the latest flyers, and a free bookmark for both my brother and I, with the instructions Pick your characters".Each time I encounter Troy or Zack

My personal favorite shop to go shopping for comics and figures. It's run by a very friendly and well organized owner & staff, it's always a pleasure to visit. Very welcoming, eager to help you and any orders you place, great communication skills and literary knowledge, professionally run and well kept, easy to find and most of all, it's selection is fantastic for any new/veteran readers. Childhood favorite book and comic store. I've been going here for almost 20 years, although it's been a while since my last visit. Friendly folks, happy to chat and help you find what you're looking for.

The Comic Room is a great little pop culture gem in the middle of Scarborough. The owner is very friendly and the store offers a great selection of toys, trades and single issues of today's popular comic book titles.

I have periodically gone to Ron's Comic Room/The Paperback Exchange for over two decades, although, store has been serving the East Scarborough area for maybe four, when it was originally a used book store. When I was younger, I was always warmly greeted by senior woman and co-owner. Likewise with her son, Ron. He is just as friendly and cordial. Knowledgeable in his craft, and professional with his patrons. This establishment makes everyone welcome and an important customer! Currently, it is now exclusively comic related, and has expanded to 2 floors (Main for current releases and children/youth section) and basement (graphic novels, back issues, comic merchandise), If you need anything ordered, Ron will gladly assist!! It's no reason why The Comic Room is one of few East Scarborough's long standing comic fixtures only in Ontario!!

I've only shopped here twice so far, but both times were great experiences. The staff are super friendly and helpful, there's a great selection that is very well organized, and the shop has a great atmosphere. Easily my go-to comic shop now.Plus, it's a great local option in Scarborough for people who don't like driving around downtown, what's not to love?

Hey so until I moved to the west end this was my main comic book store (5ish years). The owners/workers were really nice and very helpful, and it was a great environment for me to get back into comics! They also were able to order some stuff for me. I heavily recommend this place!!

The absolute best comic book store in all of Toronto. The best customer service, everyone is incredibly kind and the books are always fairly priced. If you need books they'll make sure you get them and if they don't have them they'll order them for you. I couldn't recommend this place enough to people that are just starting out collecting comics.

My son had been saying he wanted to get into the comic book hobby and decided to try The Comic Room...All I can say is WOW! The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, even helped us download an app to keep track of the series that he wanted. We'll kept and easy to find what you're looking for. 100% would recommend coming to this store. We will be back in shortly.

Rushed to this place in a rainy day and did not regret it. Cool comics there and lots of dc, marvel and queer books ! Love the worker there he’s very friendly and nice, he’s chill. Didn’t expect so many different type of books, toys and figures. since i’m new to Dc and marvel comics it’s like heaven :)
