Merry Maids of Etobicoke

Booked an estimate appointment for my apartment building, two days prior and received a call from the owner the day and time of the visit that they are not a janitorial service. I was specific about the services requested. This is not what they do.

Had a spring clean (deep clean in every room). Wow! Baseboards, tops of door frames, under and behind couches and end tables. My house is spotless. My stainless appliances sparkle and my glass shower... water marks are gone! Ladies were very professional and friendly. Worth every penny. Can't wait to have them back. Thank you!

With merry maids starting the cleaning service at my home, I am getting so much time to spend with family. The ladies are very well trained, professional and the products that they used are of excellent quality. Whenever I needed a little deep cleaning in certain areas I can just call and let them know and it would be done.

Had a pretty horrible experience with these guys that I had to share so other hopefully don’t receive the same service. I was given a gift card for 1.5 hours of cleaning. I originally told Andrew that they needed extra time to get the job done right, no problem. This was a standard cleaning service, I didn’t ask for anything extra other than to ensure under the couches/ couch cushion were vacuumed, and to ensure the windows were wiped down. which to me was all inclusive when reading anyways.That is not at all the experience I received in the slightest.They did not wipe my showers at all, did not wipe ledges in my bathroom, or washer/ dryer, my kitchen table, ANY of my kitchen cabinet (outside), vacuum under the bed (which was very accessible) or do the windows.When I called to express my concern, I was told there were 2 ladies here for 2.5 hours.I explained how I was very confused at what they could have done in that 2.5 hours.He ended up not charging me additional, which was satisfactory at best.My husband came home while they were still here and recalls them leaving 30 minutes before what was reported.I had moved on and cut my loses, swearing to never use them again. Until today when I noticed - they threw out my pads that I had under my two floor mats in the kitchen!!!!! Like why???So now I have to replace those at my own cost. Absolutely horrible service . Do not recommend.

The cleaning was done well but nothing much more then our normal cleaning. Had a gift card but my wife could not find it. Was bought by my daughter as a Christmas gift. Yopu think they would have a record of it. So cost almost $500 for very little. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. SAVE YOUR MONEY

We've used Merry Maids Etobicoke for years and regularly recommend their service to our friends. In fact, we hired them when we moved into our home because they have been doing such a good job for our extended family for close to 15 years. The team does a consistently good job cleaning the whole house with environmentally friendly products and at a very fair price. Coming home from work to have these chores done is the best feeling. Plus, all of their staff have been kind and courteous over the years. Again, highly recommend!

I didn't like the customer service over phone. The lady was not kind and talking to me in a challenging tone. Besides she was expecting me to know everything. So when I ask about something she says as I told you" as if I am stupid and did not understand. Needs customer service training."

Absolutely terrible experience with Merry Maids. We had two people come to the home for a move in clean, where we had specifically asked them to clean the fridge when booking. On arrival, they tell us they can't clean the freezer component as it's not part of what they do. They then proceed to do the worst cleaning job of the fridge component (the first two pictures included below are AFTER they cleaned" the fridge).They were also supposed to wipe down the inside of the cabinets. The third picture is the inside of the cabinet AFTER they "cleaned" it.Not only were the cleaners terrible at their job

Used this company for the first time and so happy I did. My house looks great. The cleaners were both friendly and professional. They wore masks and took covid precautions. My whole house looks amazing, no details were missed. Will use this company again.

I booked a consultation. My husband left work early so we would both be home and no one even showed up. Very unprofessional.
