Royal Vancouver Yacht Club

the royal vancouver yacht club is a wonderful establishment. we love to come here and do water based activities like paddle boarding, sailing, kayaking and general boating around.

as a sailing club it is good. best location in city for a patio. BIT the clubhouse is deteriorsting fast. poor design needs refurbishing. not a friendly club atmosphere. food is awful. quality has gonedown. mandatory 18% service charge is ludicrous for NO service. basically if u want something u get it gor yourself. poor management edsentially is ruining this place. oh yes i forgot the woke attitude that is creeping in.

Club members can enjoy dining in a casual setting on the patio with breathtaking views of the ocean. Enjoy the views of the Vancouver skyline and watch boats and ferries floating with a backdrop of sunset. Food is delicious and the Kashmiri chicken curry was surprisingly much better than what you would expect at a non-indian restaurant. Large options of wines but mostly offered only as full bottles. Local wines are available as single glass options. Grilled salmon was a little uncooked and lacked texture so I would ask for charred salmon or make them grill the fish properly. But overall a great dining experience.

Attended a wedding onboard. Very professional service. The waitress came around very frequently to take orders for the bar. The food is excellent.

Beautiful Marina and grand building with fabulous amenities for all of the accompanying aquatic festivities that happen with an historic marine club. Great restaurant(s) featuring wonderful views of the inlet and North Shore Mountains. Best location in town.

Excellent food, amazing views & good service. The only disappointment was we had let them know it was our friends 30th wedding anniversary & they never acknowledged the special occasion.

Best view in town, food still mediocre and service slow. At least they're consistent! Servers don't watch tables. I had an empty beer for 20 mins. Dirty plates for a long time too. The mandatory service charge is why I won't be frequenting. Pay extra for slow service? No thanks!

The Royal Vancouver Yacht Club is quite the historical place. I have been sailing with friends out of this location in Vancouver for over 15 years. The people are so friendly, and the service at the restaurants and bars is top-notch. It is so nice to see, such tradition being carried out in a way you just do not see anymore. If you ever get the chance to visit for an event, you will not be disappointed. My friend who has been a member his whole life says they do a lot of weddings here, so keep that in mind. Or if you ever know if someone you can sell with out of here, do not miss the opportunity.
