Modern Gravity Float Studio

I've been going here for years and it's a wonderful experience every time. The staff are great and their tanks are the best in the city. Highly recommend.

I've been to a few different float studios before and Modern Gravity is by far the best. Everything was extremely clean and organized. There were touch screen pads with headphones as you enter, that let you watch a brief video on how to float. The do's and don'ts. Love how the float tanks almost seemed to be a room too themselves. Also Loved the area with the Dyson hairblade, almost burnt my beard off. Can't believe how fast it dried. Can't forget about the after float tea area, nice added touch and great selection. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Overall it was a pleasant experience, I always enjoy meditation. But to be fair I didn’t enjoy the blue lights when coming out of the tub I feel the colour red would be more relaxing and less intense on the eyes. I also felt it to be a bit too warm and muggy to fully indulge the experience.The man in the front was outstanding and gave excellent service, and the fact they have a chill little library truly knocks the experience out of the park. The lion mural also won me over!

Very good experience! I went here for my first float and being from 5 hours away, I was very impressed with their service. The guy at the front was incredibly kind and asked if there was anything they could change to improve. They truly care about your experience and want to make sure its the best. The float rooms were a great temperature and had everything you would need, they also have a vanity with a dyson blow dryer and all the attachments for use after. I will definitely be returning every time I am in the city.

Pretty awesome place. Went in with my wife for the first time. Thought it was going to be boring, turns out to be super relaxing and I felt 9x better when I came out. Awesome vibe great experience. I get that the price is medium but I am looking forward to the costs coming down, I would go way more often as a monthly ritual.

Then look no further - Gravity Float has you covered, you may spend the first 10 minutes convinced you know how long an hour really is and then you might spend the remaining time pushing off the top and bottom of the basin feeling as graceful and weightless as wall-e in that scene with the fire extinguisher. Truly a unique experience that will have you dreaming up impressive comebacks to arguments long passed and then unraveling childhood traumas you didn't even know you had. Overall a relaxing break from reality and a quiet place to escape to, especially if you have noisy roommates or sassy children. Separately - if you have been holding out on curiosities pertaining to the efficiency of the Dyson hairdryer (which they supply for a quick dry after a long float) your reservations will disappear and your willingness to sacrifice a limb to afford one will increase exponentially. 10/10 would float again.

Just returned from our first float and both my husband and I truly enjoyed our float experience! I went in with stiff and sore muscles from working out & running (getting back into shape is hard on an old gal), and came out feeling completely relieved! We'll definitely be adding this into our wellness routine.

It was alright, it really smelled moldy in the tank and shower area, I seen as I was exiting that the framing on the floor around the door is bulging which kinda turned me off of going here again. But the staff was welcoming and tried to stay out of my way when I used the freshen up area.

I've been floating with Modern Gravity since the days it was just a tank in Matt and JP's basement. These two guys had a dream and made it reality and you can tell the care and attention they give their business. Place is always spotlessly clean and has a very calm and inviting atmosphere. Definitely recommend a float here, and check out their mutli-float deals when they have them!
