Zajac Ranch for Children

I took my family (daughter & granddaughter) up to Zajac for a family weekend. They both have DiGeorges syndrome (genetic disorder, missing chromosome 22q11.2). It was truly heart warming to see all the love and compassion of the staff and families. The number of events we were able to participate in was excellent - a great family bonding experience. The food was simple but tasty.We would most certainly go back if the opportunity came up again!

The activities were very enjoyable but me and other campers didn’t have much energy for them because there wasn’t much food served throughout the day. Only breakfast lunch and dinner, no snacks in between. And the food was very poor quality and not filling at all.

Great time with the youths we brought to the ranch. Excellent staff and facility. We had such a great time. Looking forward to next year with Camp Choice.

Amazing!! What a gorgeous place to spend a day in nature exploring and trying new things. Our hosts were incredible and fun and so great to be around and our school had a wonderful time!

We attended family camp at Zajac Ranch and had the time of our lives! Our children loved all the activities - high ropes, low ropes, the sky net trampoline, arts & crafts, archery, the petting farm, horseback riding, canoeing at Stave Lake, swimming, horseback riding and water games on the field. The staff were all incredibly supportive with both of our children. The cabins were clean and comfortable and the food was delicious! I highly recommend Zajac Ranch!

The activities were fun but the food was lacking quality.

I must say I am very disappointed. My daughter went there July 3, 2023. I received a call from her at 9am July 4, 2023, to come get her. As I was on my way to pick her up, I was called by a staff member, saying that she(my daughter) was not supposed to call me. Another staff member let her use her phone, which they were not supposed to do. No apology, nothing. So I find out that they were not doing horseback riding for the kids, which is why my daughter was there. When I brought my daughter in, I told the staff that she was excited to go riding, but they failed to let us know that there would be no riding. Obviously the kid was very disappointed & upset. This has been a very bad experience and a waste of $1560.00 of her Autism funding that could have been put to better use.

Wow, what a true gem and a fantastic place! I loved the environment, the food, the staff, the views, the everything! When can I go back again?

Came here to do horse riding therapy, to only learn that we can’t even ride the horses. It seams a lot better online then in real life
