Red Shred's Bike & Board Shed
Twice while visiting relatives in the puddle I've had to repair snowboarding equipment. And twice they have had just the piece that I needed to make the repair. They have a great selection of 5/10 shoes and during the summer a top notch bike selection. I try to make it a point to visit every time I'm in the puddle.

I am from out of town and needed my bike serviced asap. The staff here was very accommodating and were able to fit me in that day. Also gave me great recommendations on which trails to ride while I was there. I always find shopping here to be a positive experience.

Sales staff were not particularly friendly on the 1st visit and largely ignored me on the second. Thankfully a mechanic came along and helped... unfortunately he sold me a used or take-off shifter (at full price) with a previously used cable. Pain to feed into a SRAM derailleur. Doubt there was any ill intent, but sloppy practices nonetheless. Trail directions and explanations were misleading and resulted in a lot of wasted time. Lots of selection in the store though.

The best bike shop in Canada, bar none. Worth making the trek for a visit there. Endless amazing mtn bike trails in the area. They also carry high end outdoor gear for most sports.

Needed a new bike to replace my long-dormant, now-retro RM Blizzard. Wanted another Rocky Mountain, but they had no hard-tails and the rest were a bit beyond the range I wanted to pay for what may soon become a once-a-year bike.Merle (? Merrill?) was incredible... He found me a perfectly priced and geared Kona hard-tail, while patiently explaining what's evolved in 25 years. I ride it, plus a couple others for comparison. (Including the RM I'll get if I ever wear this one out!) He set me up with other gear, and some trail recommendations.I'm set, folks. Fingers crossed it gets ridden so much I wear it out!
