The view at the top is absolutely breathtaking. The hike isn't too difficult either and fairly short! The only reason I gave this a 4 star review is that going on the day after it rained, almost half of the trail was covered in mud between large rocks and it was therefore a bit slippery. Still extremely worth it!!

A truly beautiful hike. Worth going early to avoid the crowds! Not only are you rewarded very early on in the trails with the stunning view of the lakes, but the rest of the trail is a real treat. Wear hiking shoes if you can, the thick soles will help with the terrain and bug spray is a must! You’re in store for a beautiful day with a moderate to easy hike!

Well maintained. Pretty easy hike for all the family. Dogs allowed on leash. The different points of view were mostly obstructed with narrow field of view. The day we were there was terribly crowded, with tons of people not really respecting hiking etiquettes rules.

Nice, short hike with a wide view. Perfect for friends and families. So glad I got here while the leaves haven’t completely fallen yet. However, guard your belongings and don’t leave your bags in the car because you might leave the place without a bag.

We drove two hours from Montreal to hike and there was no parking spaces available. We saw many cars park beside the roads, we parked there as well. We got a ticket of 277$. We tried to pay it online but their online website couldn’t find my ticket number. I tried to call to pay it, but they only allow voice mails. Left a voice mail and they didn’t call back. After a couple of weeks trying to pay this ticket online but their website still can’t find my ticket, I forgot about this. Two months later, I got a mail with this ticket + interest, which is around 350$. The miracle is when I search it online, the website found the ticket and I can finally pay it. Never going to that area again, the hike is too short, the view is not worth the gaz price, and it seems very tricky to me how expensive they charge for their ticket and how they don’t allow you to pay at first.

Took the short trail Lac carcan, around 7 km, it is not too difficult but definitely not the easy one, muddy, rocky and lots of roots. there are 3 points of view to visit, the view are amazing!

Amazing view but very short hike and especially muddy in autumn.

Did not have a problem finding a place to park on a Sunday. There is an Outhouse toilet just before you begin which is a good thing too.

Very short trail to arrive at the view point. With a bit of elevation and muddy trial, you can get to the view point in 20-30 minutes. First view point is free, parking pace is pretty limited. But you can park on the road side. So make sure to come early on holiday.

It is very suitable for hiking and the initial stage of mountain climbing. Pay attention to the gravel and roots under your feet.
