Presley BJJ

Started training under Josh originally at HFX BJJ 4 years ago August this year. Josh is extremely dedicated to the art. Very organized with his curriculum. He has carried all of these traits to his new club, Presley BJJ. Very excited for Josh and what ever he does next as he grows this venture.

Started training with Presley BJJ in March 2021. It was my first introduction to the sport and couldn’t have had a better experience or coach. Right from the get go Josh was engaged and working constantly to help me improve my game and teach me the fundamentals. He was approachable, professional, and a talented teacher. Whether on the mat, or off the mat, he’s there to help. Through drilling, rolling, and coaching, Josh has been a fantastic instructor in my BJJ journey and I couldn’t recommend him more.Train with Josh anytime you can. You will learn something and ultimately become better.

I am a brown belt who has been training since 2006, and I decided for a treat to drop in and train at Presley BJJ. The welcoming atmosphere should be 5 stars on its own, everyone was happy to share the mats with all friends new and old. The instruction was top notch, but I honestly wouldn't expect anything less from such an established name in the Bjj community as Josh Presley has. If you live in the Wellington, NS, area or even just has access to train at Presley BJJ, I highly recommend it. I can't wait to drop in again when I travel to the HRM area again. Great for complete beginners to seasoned practitioners. Cheers all, just give it a try!!

Only been there once for an Open Mat. Once I found the place(as it's in a residential area) and hit the mats it was great. All the Members I rolled with were of a high caliber and pleasure to Roll with. Clean mats, decent sized space(roughly two car garage sized) and nobody had an issue with me wearing a different clubs rash guard (which I had talked to Presley prior to going just to make sure lol).Any time I'm in the area I'll be back. Thanks for having me.

Started training with Josh in July 2021 as a 1 stripe white belt. His classes were so much fun. Good pace, clear way to teach the techniques, positional sparring, lots of rolls, and in-class competition for people interested in competition. That was one of the things I appreciated the most, because I know some people that would like to compete but are simply too afraid (injury or something like that), and the in-class competitions helped me to introduce myself to the stress of a competition match.Josh also provides a lot of feedback, and ALWAYS answers my questions, either at the gym or online on his Instagram/Youtube.He is also very active on social media, bringing something up related to BJJ almost daily.In February 2022 he awarded me with a blue belt - one of the best days of my BJJ journey so far as he said he was proud of me!I highly recommed him if you want to progress fast, like the technicality of jiu jitsu and needs a coach that will motivate you to reach your goals!God Bless Josh!

Have been fortunate to learn from and train with Josh and he is one of the best instructors I have ever had. I still try to drop in and train with him when I visit Halifax. His teaching style makes it easy and fun to learn bjj. He provides a welcoming environment and excellent instructionals. Anyone looking to start bjj would be lucky to learn from him. Osss

He is true leader of BJJ, he is more than willing to share his knowledge base and look for ways for individual improvement during instruction time. His club is friendly open atmosphere regardless of affiliation. Make time to hit that mats with Josh and his team you will not be disappointed. Oss

Started training roughly 2 years ago and I can't speak highly enough of Presleys classes. Instruction is top level and his gym offers a great, welcoming atmosphere for all levels.

Fantastic instructor. Josh has a lot of knowledge and he's more than happy to share it with every body. I showed up for an open mat and feel welcome right away. Awesome vibe coming from everyone who's training over there. Highly recommend
