The Nest
The Nest is a really beautiful restaurant. Ample parking, great atmosphere. New but very friendly servers. The peach strawberry mimosa I had was amazing, but the savoury waffle was terrible. I was there for a quick lunch break, so to be fair I did not mention how overcooked my chicken and waffle was to my server, and I’m sure the kitchen would have tried to fix it if I did mention it. That being said, it should never have left the kitchen with the chicken looking the way it did, it’s visibly over cooked. The waffle was very dry.My friend had the fried chicken sandwich and enjoyed it, but her chicken was also cooked too long. I would like to try The Nest again, even if it’s just for that delicious mimosa, but I’ll avoid anything that goes into the fryer.

Fantastic food! I had the Smoked Salmon poached egg bowl, and my partner had the tofu bowl. We are gluten free, which was easily accommodated. Lots of GF and DF options. Would definitely eat here again!

The staff at The Nest check all the boxes for your food experience. The food is plated well and the flavors are paired phenomenally. We have done breakfast and now dinner and we cant wait for the next date night! 100% recommend your next date night be The Nest.

What a gem of a place to visit. The atmosphere is excellent both inside and out. Deck is midsize and gets alot of late day sun. Service was excellent with a knowledgeable staff and customer friendly service. Prices are fair and portions are enough for you to leave feeling full and satisfied. Cocktail was delicious. Had the bison burger. Really felt it is well combined with beef and boar. Great place for a date night or to gather with friends. Totally recommend this spot. Also have many gluten free options and vegan dishes. Second addition to this post. Came here again and had a most awesome steak with fingerling potatoes and veggies. Steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare. The sauce was really tasty. Another worth ordering menu item.

This place is amazing, the bison carpaccio is to die for. This place is the best for a cozy date night! The owner is so amazing and told us about the best paring of wine with the carpaccio. 120% would recommend this restaurant for any occasion! Notable drink is definitely the watermelon mojito! So tasty and refreshing!!! Will be coming back and trying out their breakfast!!!!!

The place reminds me of art we are in Kamloops. Local art along the walls. Vibe is nice. Waitress was great. The greens and mushrooms were fantastic. The ling cod main wasn’t my favourite and the waitress did ask if there was anything she could do. Randy, the owner approached me and said they will make adjustments after my comments. He is very genuine. Love the concept and inventive dining experience.

What an incredible hidden gem The Nest restaurant is, thank you for an enjoyable evening! We had the BBQ brisket platter for two and it was the best meal we’ve had in a VERY long time, huge props to the chef! They had a wonderful sommelier come to each table and a cool list of cocktails made from an expert mixologist! We will definitely be back soon. If you’re looking for a great meal, fabulous drinks and a cool atmosphere, you will not be disappointed at The Nest!!
