Not sure if it’s a small town thing, but even being polite to the staff, they were not having it. Tell them “have a good day” and they just stare at you.Got a bag of ice and the staff member asked what kind with an attitude, then got annoyed when we asked for wood. The younger guy got annoyed that he got called out to grab the bags, held onto them after taking them out of the storage until my husband said “I’ll take them from here, thanks have a good day.” - it was weird.

Great staff; very friendly. Of course the prices are a little more; they don’t have Walmart buying power. Meat department is comparable to the best butcher in Calgary. Will order you in anything you want if you give him a couple of days notice!

When we moved to Black Diamond 2 years ago, we expected to find that our local grocery store would have limited choices and high prices. Isn't that the way it is in small communities?Well, was I wrong! Their prices are fair, and they always seem to have what we are looking for. Their meat is especially good.On top of all that the staff are friendly and helpful. I was especially impressed when I phoned them a few weeks ago to see if they had tahini. Would I have to go into the city for this item? Not at all. Not only did they have it, the staff member told me what it cost, how many they had, and where to find it when I came to the store.Thank you AG Foods. You are a credit to the community.

The meat department is outstanding. The butcher is personable and helpful. The prices and quality are wonderful. I send all my local friends here. For a small town store with less buying power than the big boys they do remarkably well. The money I save on gas by shopping local ....I dont mind if prices on a few things are a tad higher.

We were visiting and had to pick up some groceries. It is a very clean store and the staff were very nice. We found it very expensive though for the only Grocery store for miles. It was more like a Convenience store.
