THE MAHARAJA
The restaurant has recently restarted their executive lunch offering. We were 3 adults on March 1, 2023 that decided to try their new offering. We were aptly greeted and served by Athsley, supported by Krishnaim. The menu for the day was:1. Tomato sorbet (soup) served with methi with Papad on the side.2. Aloo (Potatoes) dry curry with coriander and delicious spices.3. Dal Makhani.4. Butter chicken.5. Saffron rice with dhania topping, and naan &/or roti.6. Gulab Jamoon for desserts. The soup was excellent, perfectly flavoured, rich and creamy. The potatoes were wonderful, dal was great and I probably had the best butter chicken curry in a long time. They have kept their standards. They are on the higher end in pricing but you get the product. Overall a great experience. If you have to take your client(s) for a delicious and executive lunch, I would highly recommend Maharaj. Ask for the 2 servers I mentioned above. They are great!

THE MAHARAJA
The menu was extensive with dishes from various parts of India, including veg and non-veg options. We were served with a unique welcome drink. Then we tried their recommended mocktail drinks which were refreshing. I tried the Aam Panna which is prepared using raw mango, was too good. Other one was Rosee. We tried Aachari Murgh Tikka, Lamb sheikh Kebab, Shajahani Baadal Jaam which is Egg plant fried, as starters. Both tikka and kebab were flavourful and cooked to perfection. I liked the egg plant fried though I am a pure non-veg person when eating outside. For the main course we had Naan, Mutton Biriyani, a chicken dish ‘Murgh Lababdar’, a King fish curry, and a mushroom dish. Mutton in Biriyani was really soft and cooked well. It looked different from the Hyderabadi biriyani’s I’ve tried before, but was rich in flavour and not that spicy. Raita served was also unique and tasty. The curries were good with the Naan. For desert, we had Gulab Jamun which was little bigger than normal size, but was rich and really delicious. The service was really good..staff was friendly, attentive, and helped with some good recommendations based on our preferences. The ambiance looked classy with elegant interiors. Overall, I highly recommend ‘The Maharaja’ for anyone looking for an authentic Indian dining experience. It is not a daily visit kind of restaurant but the food, service, and ambiance are all really good.

THE MAHARAJA
I have visited this restaurant prior to the pandemic and now after the pandemic. The vibes have definitely changed. Pre-pandemic, It was much busier, food selection and presentation was a bit different. I am not sure if management of the restaurant has changed as I know they were closed for dine in for a very long time even when the pandemic restrictions were lifted for restaurants. The food flavours were still pleasant and tasty even today. We got the Dahi kebab, paneer tikka and Subz Hara Bhara Kebab. All were good but our favourite was the Subz Hara Bhara Kebab. For drinks, we tried the mango lassi-which was good, not very sweet or thick and a sour mango drink-which was refreshing. For mains, we got the maharaja dal makhani, Shahi matar paneer, paneer lababdar, and subz miloni. All dishes has a distinct taste - which was nice as quite often the underlying taste of the dishes tends to be the same. Our favourite was paneer lababdar and subz miloni. Garlic naan was soft and very warm when it arrived. We were pleased to see so many options and all good that arrived on our table was hot and fresh. The service was a bit limiting. It seemed like they have only 3 servers for the entire restaurant but the servers were all very polite and respectful.I would definitely return.

The Maharaja is a fine dine-in Indian cuisine restaurant. The ambiance shows the royal essence of India, and the service is equally good. The food is tasty and everything was served hot. We orderedAppetizer-1. Muglai Murgh Malai Kebab- marinated in mint and cilantro paste, slow cooked in tandoorMain Course-1. Murgh Lababdar- cooked in red gravy with a mix of spices. The chicken was fresh served with laccha paratha.Dessert-Gulab Jamun - it was stuffed with dry fruits, with melt in mouth taste.Aam Panna Maderia - it was a mocktail made with raw mango and sparkling water. You can also go to this place for any celebration or occasion.

THE MAHARAJA
Big Name, Great Ambience, High Prices, Ok Quality. Went in with a lot of expectations. The Maharaja is no doubt a great place considering its ambience and the vibe it sets. Though that's not all a restaurant needs. Their food quality is ok something that one can find in pretty much any Indian restaurant. Not the way its presented gives the vibe of a 5 star restaurant and thus the extremely sky high prices, don't even want to start on that. And again with the explicit prices comes the even so less quantity of food. If you are a fan of good place to eat without much thought of the food. This is a must try for that. If they work on their prices and quality of food this restaurant might reach new heights.

I had my parents 50th wedding anniversary here early this month (feb) and it did not disappoint (booked the backend of the restaurant). We booked it because of the tasty food and atmosphere (I had tried it out beforehand since I've never been before). The manager (Gitansh) was great, very organized and helpful. They also have some creative indian inspired fruit juices for those that don't drink. Everyone enjoyed and we will definitely be going back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maharaja, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Each dish showcased a remarkable blend of flavours. The ingredients seem to be fresh, and the presentation was remarkable. The ambience is really awesome with an elegant interior design. We were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. They were well-versed in the menu, offering valuable suggestions. The service was prompt and efficient. The outstanding food, enchanting ambience, dedicated staff, and excellent service make it a standout establishment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

THE MAHARAJA
Place was a bit pricy for the quality and quantity of food. We came in the winter, and the ac was on. We sat in our coats for most of the time. This really took away from us enjoying the food.We ordered a few items from the tandoor, and they came out on some skewer in a festive pot, and it looked great! However, the dish was cold, and this made the chicken cold.Veg.dishs and Currys were good, and the spice was on pointThe dessert was good but a bit too sweet for my liking.
