We had their sour and cream battered fish. It was good but very very very oily. We also felt that the fries were too brown. On a side note, the sauce was amazing; very different from the usual tartare sauce. Ambiance was quiet and comfortable!

Loved it! The cod was fresh and with just the right amount of batter. Surprisingly not greasy for fried food. Excellent service as well, and food arrives quickly.

Never had fish and chips before and I regret not trying it sooner! The batter is light and crispy yet not oily while the fish is so juicy and flaky. I'm completely loving it!

First time to try this restaurant, it is surprisingly good. They have different fishes to choose from, freshly fried, the batter is crispy and thin. Fish is fresh, coz it's deep fried, so a little bit oily, u can see oil on the paper. Ther portion is good. We also order shrimps popcorn. It has a funny taste. I think it is fresh (I don't get sick or anything), just not sure why it tastes differently from the shrimps I expected. Overall it's a good place

I'm generally not a huge fan of fish and chips, but this place just blew me away.Generous portions and amazing food. Everything was fresh and it was not at all greasy like you might get at other places. There's also a good selection of different fishes to pick from.

Awesome place. I had the cod which was delicious as were the fries that accompanied it. The portions were large and it was a good value for $15, which included a soda. They do have different varieties of fish to choose from.

Brits & Chips is my favorite place for fish and chips, have been there many times. This time i tried the fish of the day, with hot sauce and blue cheese dressing, very yummy! Loved the service, thanks all!

I absolutely adore fish and chips, and yet somehow I walked by this place for years without so much as a second glace, which was definitely a mistake on my part. I liked the amount of variety there was in the menu - there wasn't so much as to overwhelm you, but they had enough of a choice that you and your group could all order something different. I had the sour cream and onion batter with sole and poutine for my side, and I found it be very filling. I was pleased to see Irn Bru on the menu as well, it added to the authenticity of having fish and chips. The physical restaurant itself was kept clean, the signage was clear, and the waitress was helpful with making suggestions and answering any of our questions. We finished off our meal with a deep fried 3 Musketeers bar à la mode (so you can make sense of all 3 images).

The best fish and chips in Montreal and the service was amazing too. You can sit inside or outside in the summer. The prices are also very reasonable. Not many choices in desserts but the fried snickers bar is awesome.
