Great thrift store! Staff are friendly and the prices are still OK but slowly creeping higher. Be sure to check which Tag day it is....50% off days on certain Tags are great!

You can find anything you want at SOS. And the NGO it supports is wonderful. Prices are moving up recently at a rate not justified by inflation. Hidden treasures can still be found from time to time.Worth checking out even if only to support the cause.

Just wasted $25 on clothes that I could not try on in store... Due to having 4 cashiers and a security guard, plus people working to take in the donations... But no one for the change rooms... Then to find out I can not return the items that don't fit... Shows you're good at taking money... Really do hope it goes back to the community and not to pay for the higher ups wages in your organization...I will be donating the clothes I bought to another organization that has change rooms open or is at least willing to return items that don't fit...

I could have spent $400 or more, on a queen pillow top, but no... I chose the SOS. Like new mattress for $60!! Thanks everyone, for all your hard work.

Hands down the best thrift store on Vancouver Island. Fantastic buys on the main floor, always handmade collectibles and goodies, usually tons of jewellery, furniture and books. Upstairs is clothing, a huge selection well organized and displayed. I have always found something I couldn't resist here.

Travis, who is working as a security guard at the SOS thrift shop in Parksville is top end, exceptional and personable reception! Everyone who comes in and he talks to either seems to know him or how to address their concerns. Give the guy a raise!
