We switched from the competition thinking it would be better. We have outages almost daily with UPLINK and at least during one part of the day we have connection problems. The owner Brad constantly talks down to you and rubs it in your face what he does and what the competition doesn’t do meanwhile I’m paying for a service they can’t fully offer me as I have connection issues daily. I have an email from 2 months ago offering if I want out of the contract I can but they did something to the tower and I should have better connection…. I have taken the last while to assess things and if anything they are worse. I sent an email indicating we wanted to switch providers as such but conveniently I was advised that offer was a one time deal and we can’t cancel now.So just by inquiring about canceling and taking brad up on his previous offer via email he sent us to cancel, he decided or got mad and chose to cancel us the same day (on a holiday) in a perceived effort to leave us suddenly stuck without internet. But offered if we wanted internet until our chosen day we would have to pay over 500 in cancellation fees.Don’t mean to go into great detail, but just showing the true colours of the vengeful owner that called me abusive, vulgar, and slanderous because I merely said I didn’t like him or his company… and i don’t as the owner is far from professional as I’ve experienced first hand.It’s simple, If the internet was decent and we never had issues we wouldn’t have inquired about cancelling. If we didn’t feel the competition offered a better quality service (experienced both now) we wouldn’t be switching back….

I can't say enough good things about Brad & Kelly and their services! We made the switch from dialup internet and phones over old bell lines to VOIP and internet with Uplink and am loving the clear phone lines and fast internet speeds! thank you guys so very much for the great service and fast responses to any questions or concerns! Highly recommend them.

Made me feel extremely uncomfortable with them as a small local provider when they joked about seeing what we do on the internet.Guaranteed to find a spelling error in every one of their e-mails.Brad told me in November I would have fiber in a couple weeks, when I questioned it he became frustrated and insisted I just listen to him"Still no fiber."

Second to none, Brad and his team are amazing. We moved into our new home missing one important thing...rural internet. After a month of trying to get a dsl connection that wouldn’t fail every time my wife had a conference call or zoom meeting Brad showed up, gave us a short term fix with the promise of making it even better. Everyday uplink improves and gets better for us. Huge thank you to everyone at uplink. It’s nice to deal with a small business that cares about how important and essential internet is in a modern work environment. Huge thank you from all of us, if we could give 10 out of 5 stars we would.

I’ve been in rural Elgin county for 3 1/2 years and started out with one of the only big two rural high speed providers (Exec something or other). Service was slow, highly unpredictable, expensive and bandwidth was capped. My kids hated me for moving to the country because Xbox wasn’t the same. In March 2018 it was time for a change and I discovered Uplink wireless rural internet. 25 Mbps with no bandwidth cap for the price I was paying with my previous provider. My kids love me again. Service is stable and where Uplink shines is with customer service if issues arise. I’ve spent several multi-hour sessions with my previous provider’s customer service “hotline” which usually ended with frustration (and ultimately me moving to Uplink). Two months ago I spilled a drink on my internet power supply (don’t mix electricity with liquids!) and my internet went down. Brad and Jay from Uplink had my service back up within the day. Can’t say enough about Uplink! Awesome!

They were eager to get us signed up. Told us the day, and someone had to be home. Day came and went nothing. No call, nothing. We call leave a message with a fella to reschedule nothing. We called two more times, and we never were called back. Turns out uplink service is already tanking. Try starlink..Cheaper and faster.

Update March 2023: Service continues to be excellent. We lost service due to an Ice storm and their team of techs worked tirelessly to get us back up and running. Extremely happy with Uplink!We were Wireless customers for a year, it had it's challenges with outages and down time. However, they attempted to fix as quickly as possible.We have now been upgraded to their new Fiber network and are extremely pleased with the speeds, uptime and price. We increased our speed and the price went down. I am happy to be able to game again if I want and not experience the Ping and Lag issues I was having with Wireless. Overall a few bumps in the road, but they work hard to get them fixed, their tech staff are friendly and helpful. The guys installing the fiber are considerate when in your home and are willing to explain the process if you ask questions.

Amazed with how hard these folks worked to get us reliable internet. After three visits they found a location that worked and did an incredibly careful installation that included trenching. The crew were fantastic and it's such a relief to finally have fast and reliable internet for our home and business!

Got their wireless internet service. Great value and great service. Have to keep in mind that it is wireless - there can be issues. They do their best to get things sorted out in a timely fashion! Compared to any other rural wireless provider can't beat the value!
