ODC-WOODBRIDGE(Thistlewood Diagnostic Associates) Ultrasound X Ray BMD, Mammogram

I have been here 3 times during my pregnancy and have had horrible experiences every time. The first dating ultrasound was at 8 weeks. I was told that I shouldn’t have come so soon by the technician, even though my doctor sent me. She did an intravaginal ultrasound and she left the machine inside me, while going to call my husband into the room. This was very uncomfortable.My second appointment at 12 weeks was HORRIBLE. I had an older blonde technician. She was rude, dismissive and had no bedside manner at all. She reprimanded me several times about having drank too much water. Made me “pee half” of my bladder 4 times. The ultrasound consisted of her huffing and puffing, grunting, silence and telling me I should’ve come at 13 weeks. When she finally got to the end, an hour later she showed me a very blurry image and pointed incorrectly to the “nose”, head, eyes etc. Also, she kept pulling my gown open and just throwing a paper towel over my private area. At my follow up doctor’s app, my doctor immediately told me that she did not get a clear ultrasound of the baby and it was practically useless.I was sent back by my doctor at 13.5 weeks since the previous ultrasound did not get a clear image and details were missing. This appointment was at 10am. I was in and out of the appointment for 3 hours. This technician was much more thorough and took the time and patience to get the proper ultrasound done. My baby was not in the right position which contributed to the length of time, but it wasn’t a great experience overall.

Recently I had an ultrasound exam which was performed by Saima Suleman. I was impressed with her professional approach, politeness and attention. A report came to my family doctor on the same day. I will definitely back to this diagnostic center.

Im giving it a 1 star because of some of the staff in the front desk are sweet and friendly. I have gone to this place twice now with 2 different sonographers with the same attitude for my first dating US. As a labour and delivery nurse, I'm surprised the way they treat patients here. They don't introduce themselves, they don't explain the procedure they are about to do, and when the test is done, they just run out the door. Literally the words I hear are Your doctor will talk to you about the results" and run away. I understand sonographers can't discuss the results with the patient and have to keep a poker face. But some bedside manners would be appreciated. Staying in the room and asking the patient if they have any other questions or concerns

I was not going to write anything with my review because of the fact that my name is attached to it, however after what happened today I feel like i should warn others. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE GETTING AN ULTRASOUND FOR YOUR BABY. It will not be a pleasant experience at all.Two years ago I came here in early pregnancy to get an ultrasound. I had an intervaginal ultrasound and a regular ultrasound to check the cysts on my ovaries. Technicians and front desk were questioning why I had it so early… I am not sure why they keep asking patients this when we are just following what the doctor is telling us. I had a technician perform the ultrasound, and there was also an intern there with her. The technician took her pictures with the regular ultrasound. She asked if I minded that the intern do the intervaginal ultrasound. I agreed, although I should not have. The technician set her up and then LEFT THE ROOM. This other woman was aimlessly wandering around for literally 25 minutes in there. This was very painful on my cysts. She didnt take a single picture and then when the technician finally returned she literally shoved her out of the way and had to take all the pictures. Very uncomfortable and i never returned.Despite the warning, someone I know went to get her 32 week ultrasound done today and yet again the technician had an intern with her. They her on her back for so long that she was literally in tears with pain. They were speaking in a different language to each other the entire time, and because they were taking forever, she was in there worried sick about what they could be saying and if it was something wrong. They did not explain what they were saying. They also told her her due date is 3 weeks earlier than her OB told her and has been telling her this whole time. After panicking for 3 days about an earlier due date she went to get another ultrasound at the hospital where she is giving birth. They reassured her that the baby is NOT 35 weeks and that she is still 32 weeks.During my pregnancy I had many ultrasounds completed else where and the technicians were professional, on time, and did not state any opinions or information about the baby. They never made me feel uncomfortable and asked me throughout how I am feeling, ensuring that I’m calm.For your own piece of mind, book your ultrasound somewhere else.

i had an appointment this morning. The blonde lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. She took me in on time and was professional. I had a very pleasant experience here.

I found all of the employees helpful, friendly, and efficient.My technician was professional and thorough. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

I called prior to coming and asked “are you guys doing chest x rays today” and they said “yes we are doing them till 2 pm. “So i went. Took the bus went there, arrived there gave the paper and everything they neededAnd then, the lady said “ were not doing the chest Xray today cause i have no one in” “if you want you can come back next week Monday between this time.Pls. Be careful with information you give through phone call as time is precious, specially to us students.

I was scheduled for an appointment at 11am, was only seen 11:30 after practically dancing that I needed to pee. I was there for my 8week pregnancy ultrasound. The appointment was very rushed, she wouldn't let me listen to the baby heartbeat after I explained how scared I was because my previous pregnancy I found out at my 7 week ultrasound there was no heartbeat and I was miss carrying. She didn't show me anything on screen or give me a print out of my baby.

We visited this facility on last Saturday. It was really a great experience. The staff was really helpful and did go out of there way to help us. Great job guys.

Terrible experience. Confirmed the appointment multiple times over the phone that I required scans for two parts of my body. Once arrived, they said they can only do one and refused to give me back my referral so I can see a different clinic that would complete both tests as outlined by referral. Now I am forced to visit my family doctor again to get a new referral.Came from Milton.Complete waste of time. Avoid this clinic at all costs.On a side note, the clinic itself looks very run down and poorly maintained. I tried to overlook this as clinics don't necessarily need to look extravagant by any stretch of imagination but this place deserves a 0 stars by any degree of recommendation.Again, avoid at all cost.
