The hike can be gruelling but the experience was well worth it in the end. Truly one of the most beautiful places in the world and certainly an experience of a lifetime. The water as you can see in the picture, is really that shade of turquoise.

It’s too long. Glacier view is amazing. I like the trail covered by water along the lake.

Beautiful glacier lake! Never tired to go again and again. We went at end of May and used microspikes.

Great place to stop for a snack or meal. Wonderful view of the lake and can even take a dip (if you can handle the ice cold waters)Be mindful of the birds/chipmunks. They will try to take your food if you aren't watching, even if you are watching they will still try to take a piece.

Went there in Feb 2022. Snowshoes are highly recommended as there was amlost 2-3 feet of snow over and around the lake. No place to sit other than snow. Way to washroom also had deep powder snow, which was not reachable as we didn't have snowshoes. Keep enough water, food, warm clothes, trash bag etc when planning for the garibaldi lake. It's 9 km hike one way and with snow it's tough on the knees for the first timers.

After a long hike, this is a small picnic area with a couple of tables, a shelter and pit toilets. The view is spectacular. THERE IS NO POTABLE WATER HERE! Bring a lot of water (especially of you are doing this hike out the hot weather), a filtration unit or water purification tablets. There is also a campground here too.
