Ocean Blue Day Spa

We’ve just enjoyed a fabulous mother daughter day at Blue Ocean Spa. Erin and Jenna went above and beyond in providing excellent spa services - facials, massages, pedicures, eyebrows - all wonderful. They graciously accommodated every request - all five of us will be back!

Absolute heaven! Very calming environment and exceptional staff! I got a pedicure in the luxurious massage chair and nearly fell asleep I was so relaxed! First thing I noticed was how CLEAN the spa is! Highly reccomend popping in to check out their services!

My wife and I had an amazing experience at Ocean Blue Day Spa. My wife had a 90Min deep massage with Erin and was able to relieve her tight muscles seamlessly which has been unachievable by other therapists. I had a 90Min relaxing massage with Chayla and she provided me with the most relaxing massage providing me tremendous relief from a stressful period. Erin and her team recognizes the importance of customer service , quality of massage and a comforting and relaxing environment . I’ve been to many spas in Parksville , the island and Vancouver lowerMainland and Ocean Blue Day Spa is by far the best one and would highly recommend and willDefinitely make the trip to Parksville solely to visit the Spa.

Great morning with my sister and niece at Ocean Blue Spa for pedicures.Erin made our experience fun and relaxing. I wish she was in Cambridge, I'd be back on a regular basis to use more of there services.

Went for a massage and pedicure with my significant other. The massage was wonderful, we both enjoyed ourselves very much.We were both a little disappointed in our pedicures, we felt they were a bit rushed. I was upset to see a $30 charge for gel polish removal added to our invoice after the fact, I felt as though someone should have mentioned it especially because we had a confirmation email with the amount expected. $30 seems quite high, seeing as my usual place where I live my pedicure is $40 with gel polish.The one thing that really upset us both and really reflected poorly on their customer service, was their reaction to their tip. We both come from the service industry and prefer to tip in cash as we know the benefits. On our way to the spa we had discussed that I only had $60 in cash and we were wanting to leave a larger amount. We didn't have time to stop to get more cash out, so we decided he would just include a tip when he paid as well. He ended up finishing his pedicure first and went to the front to pay while he waited for me, I had my purse/cash with me otherwise he would have given the cash then. However, I could not believe the look on the lady's face when he paid and it wasn't what she wanted and then to point it out to another lady doing the services and have a discussion about it while we could very plainly see was pretty astonishing. I get it, i'm from the service industry, it sucks to get a tip that is under what you were expecting, but you should not be making your guests feel so uncomfortable while you react the way they did. In the end, we left a 25% tip, which I believe is pretty generous. Needless to say, the massage was fabulous, but we were certainly disappointed in their customer service.

I received a deep tissue massage by Erin and it was heavenly! The room was very relaxing and comfortable with tranquil music and ambient lighting. Erin was very pleasant, nurturing and attentive to my needs. I went in with so much tension and pain and left feeling so much better! She is highly experienced and I would definitely recommend her services :)

Just had a fantastic experience with a pedicure. Gel paraffin scrub and massage. Erin and her colleagues are lovely! Caring professionals who lovingly treat the public. Decore is light and fun. Great massage chair . Loved the mermaid throw blanket. Great technical advice on a nail that I ripped in the garden. I will be back!

Booked a Facial and ended up getting both a Facial and a Chin Waxing. both were great and am happy with the results. will book again. Great Location.

Kudos to Erin who did the best massage I’ve had in years. I would highly recommend her if you are in the Parksville area visiting. I would come back anytime.PS: my husband says the same.
