Having shopped here several times, (I did more in the past). I will call ahead to inquire availability and pricing. Some impact sockets that my other vendors don't stock or even carry, AES does. Good customer service every time I've made purchases.

Ordered some blades that were to be arriving in a week. No call, I figured that they would be in but before i drove in i called ahead. Talked to one person who was going to call me back after being on hold for 10 min. No one called. After the 3rd time calling i finally talked to someone who knew my situation. No blades. A week late and they still are not here, I was reassured when ordering that they would be on time. Guess next time I will go elsewhere

This used to be my go to for some welding supplies and misc items such as sanding drums, emery cloth, grinding discs, hardware, hinges, etc.More recently every single time I walk in to browse the isles and see if there's anything not on my list but catches my attention, I get approached by the gentleman that has worked there for years(not the owner). He approaches me like I am a criminal, stands over my shoulder and doesn't leave my side even though I make it clear I'll ask for help if needed. Let me do my shopping! Last time this happened I just left and took my business elsewhere. Prices have also been on the rise considerably. When I questioned him about the price, his response was it's just money". I'm a small business and $20 difference on a $50 part is my lunch for the day.I will say call around for prices before going. I took it for granted they were fair on prices until I actually called around one day and found I was getting hosed pretty good on every day items.With that said

Terrible service. When you are in they write down your name/number and tell you they will call but they don’t. I seems like the employees are limited by the manager. I wouldn’t be surprised if AES goes out of business because of their poor service. There is much better service available at other nearby suppliers.

Every time I have dealt with this company have been disappointed with service. Consistently ignore emails and phone calls.Have talked with multiple people at this company and had the same results in the last 2 years.

Excellent service and selection. I always feel welcome when I come by the store.

If they tell you they will order something in for you, don't bother it will never show up. If they tell you they are going to look something up and call you back... don't wait, you'll probably never hear back. If you decide to go in and browse their store, don't be surprised if they say you look like somebody who might steal something"and follow you around. Three strikes is enough for me

Rare to get a callback , even on common items like ridgid parts. There is much more responsive industrial suppliers in red deer

This is a very well stocked store with pretty anything a person could use in an industrial application. Staff meet you at the door help you find what you need.
