Airport Inn-Port Hardy

Our reservation was for a room on the second floor. When Bernie (manager) noted that I had a visible disability he insisted on changing the room to an easily accessible ground floor unit. I can’t say enough about the wonderful hospitality we received!Our room had a large smart tv that we (an elderly couple) had difficulty managing. Bernie came right over and helped us out not only once but twice!There is a lovely dining room which will hopefully open for business in the future. For this reason I gave a 4 star rating for the hotel overall. It’s not a fancy, high priced establishment but it felt very good staying here.The room was very clean and comfortable as were the beds. We’ll definitely book here again in the future.

I had a crew here while working at the old Island Copper Mine for a month , Bernie the manager is fantastic to deal with and very accommodating. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable.Continental breakfast was included.Next project in Port Hardy this will be my go to place to stay !Thanks Bernie !!

For it's price it's a OK hotel. Clean and convenient. The manager is super nice and friendly. We called him earlier to let him know we are arriving 1 am. He waited us until then helping us check in.

The new manager Bernie Gobeil is fantastic. Always willing to help and has great customer service. He is a great asset to our community.

Loved this place!! A must stay if your in or near Port Hardy. Bernie and his awesome staff with a small town feel. He has shuttle service included, which was so helpful for my needs. There on business and will be back again!! Thank you so much, made my business trip not feel like business at all ❤️.

The rooms are big, with new Tvs and AC units and during our extended stay Bernie provided us with a very manageable rate. We began our day before the free breakfast but were still able to partake in the evening which was nice. Liquor sales onsite but looking forward to the pub/restaurant opening. Thanks for making our stay in Port Hardy easier Bernie !

Place is in a nice an quiet location, good after arriving with the ferry. Room cleanliness was the only thing that could've been improved, other than that: nice and brand new furniture. And Bernie the manager does a great job, we had to reschedule on short notice because of the wildfire situation and Bernie made sure that it was no problem at all. Would definitely recommend the motel.

I traveled here for work and honestly, for the price, this inn really delivered. Extremely affordable pricing, friendly staff and a spotless room. I loved having my own little private deck to enjoy the evening air in. I met Bernie and a few other staff, they were lovely. I forgot something at the front counter and they delivered it to make sure I got it. I like that they have snacks available at the desk and a wee little liquor store. Clearly, Bernie has done a lot of work here and continues to do so. I love that he is actually on site, instead of the inn being corporate owned. The location is both close to town and close to the airport for us travellers. The concrete construction of the building really keeps it cool even on this hot day, which I loved! Even small details were cared for, such as higher quality shampoo, etc as well as a higher grade organic coffee in the room (no Maxwell here!) The fridge is a brand new 4 foot tall unit with a freezer, for those that plan to spend a little time here. The sheets were crisp and well made. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to rest your head with the actual owner on site, I would recommend here.

Stayed two nights at the Airport Inn in Port Hardy. The bathroom and bedroom area was very clean and tidy. Lots of towels. Lots of hot water, Good shower pressure. Big tv, roomy fridge, even a small microwave. The sliding doors led to a big balcony. Importantly for me the WIFI was very good. There's also a handy liquor store next to the check in. I didn't try the restaurant but it looked good and will next time. Overall the motel is excellent value at 99$/night. If you're looking for expensive with high end finishings and faux ambiance this isn't the place. This is solid old fashioned good value. A proper motel. I'll definitely be back. ps: Thanks to Bernie the manager, a good guy who will definitely help you out.
