I was pulled over, the inspector appreciated that i did my pretrip properly and wished me well. Had i not done my inspection and noted what was wrong he said i could have been fined $950. DO YOUR INSPECTIONS!

Yeah, it's a weigh station, but the inspectors were intelligent and applied common sense. Problem solved and I was back on the road quickly. (Triumph of the spirit of the law!)
