The sensei is very dedicated, patient and caring over and above for students needs. The sensei is highly skilled and awarded . Training here has been life changing for me

Briefly, an awesome Karate dojo for your kids!As our kids had been training Karate for a few years before moving to the neighbourhood, we decided to look for a local Karate dojo for them. After a few sessions, the kids wanted to quit as they needed to start from scratch - white belt" when switching from another "branch" of Karate. Sensei Espley patiently explained everything and turned out it was our excellent choice for them to keep going here.We'd never seen any coach who is so patient

My daughter started training at this dojo last November and she absolutely loves it! Not only is Sensei Jascha highly skilled, knowledgeable and passionate about karate, but you can clearly see how dedicated and caring he is with all of his students in the way that he communicates and relates to them. My daughter has become much stronger, both physically and mentally, since starting karate training. I have even noticed a big improvement in her speed, balance and patience with the puck during her hockey games, as karate training with Jascha has taught her muscle awareness, patience and mental focus. She always looks forward to attending class every week! I'm so glad that I found this dojo for her to train at!

My sons have been going there for years. Sensei Jascha is a really good teacher who is highly accomplished, has won many awards, and is very dedicated to the sport. It is a good environment for the kids to learn and practice karate.

Since joining in 2020 I feel better, happier, and healthier than before all the while getting to learn an authentic karate style backed by a century's lineage from a Sensei who treats his art seriously and his students respectfully. Poco karate is a very supportive environment to learn and practice karate for all ages, experience and physical abilities. The curriculum is incremental making it very possible for students to learn the material for their level without getting overwhelmed.
