The Symes

I had at the pleasure to go to the Symes for 2 separate events in the past few years and both times were absolutely amazing if not perfect. Although both times had 2 very different themes, the space works well for both, it’s really quite versatile. Ladies at the Symes are amazing to work with, they are smart, organized and attention to detail. Can’t wait to come back for future events!

The venue is great for an engagement or baby shower, but maybe small for a wedding or a corporate event. However love the exposed brick and the rustic interiors.

What an amazing experience with the Symes! Rachel and Namita were the backbones and strength for our special wedding day. They were very accommodating, resourceful, and a wealth of knowledge who clearly know how to run events! Them and the entire Symes staff were absolute pros, and truly reliable, helpful people. I can't say enough good things about the Symes, and I can't thank them enough for hosting one of the best nights EVER! The venue is absolutely stunning, and I would highly recommend this for any type of event. I look forward to more events at the Symes! Thank you Namita, Rachel and Natalia for making our day so special! :)

I just got married there last weekend and it was the BEST wedding ever! The space is so beautiful and raw. We were able to decorate the room into a winter wonderland which was exactly what we envisioned. Inside it felt so warm with the most beautiful lighting. All the staff were outstanding and could not have been more helpful.- especially Viviana. The catering/food was unbelievable. We had the ceremony upstairs and the reception downstairs. We had no problems with sound and the acoustics were perfect! It is obvious why this is becoming the most popular wedding spot for a large group (>250). Cant wait to attend many more Symes events :)

We love this venue! Visited many times as a guest for weddings. Highly recommend. The staff are always a pleasure and the space is beautiful.

The Symes hosted our wedding earlier this month and we couldn't have been happier we chose this location. The space is absolutely gorgeous; with it's exposed brick and art deco design, it has to be seen in person to truly appreciate it's beauty & uniqueness. The venue also has an amazing rooftop terrace that offers picturesque sunset photos.But what really makes The Symes exceptional are the people who run it. Namita and her team were incredibly accommodating with all our special requests and really made us feel like we were the most important clients they have ever had. The evening was stress-free and that's a testament to how well they took care of every detail.Thank you to everyone at The Symes who helped make our special day so perfect!

We loved having our wedding at the Symes! We hosted out ceremony and cocktail hour downstairs and moved the party upstairs for the reception. The brick and open space allowed us to bring our vision to life. The lighting is incredible and the rooftop terrace upstairs made for the perfect outside space for a dancing break. The staff are also amazing - Namita helped us from the beginning and was outstanding, and everyone on her team were instrumental in having our day run smoothly. Can't recommend it enough!

It’s a large industrial banquet hall. I attended a condo pre launch event here. There was about 150 realtors invited for the event and it was quite functional, it’s great for large business functions but not ideal for weddings or personal use functions. It’s in a very industrial area.

Hello to all our favourite Symes people.Thank you for making this journey so pleasant, so easy, so welcoming and so perfect.From the first time we contacted you. To the walk through, the emails, the questions and to the day of, we always felt heard and supported.Your staff made us feel so comfortable on Thursday and throughout the day asking us if we needed anything. We felt like royalty while behind the scenes you were all gathering to be sure that every single piece was in place!Leah and Shane were sooo happy with the flow, the food, the organization, the attentiveness, the service etc. You are truly all together a well oiled machine.Many of our guests commented on the service and presentation and professionalism of all the staff.Thanks for all your hard work. We did not take it for granted.
