Brownstone Restaurant
The service provided by the student assistants is quite friendly. The tables and menus are sticky and should be cleaned regularly. Cleaning and renovation of the washrooms is urgently needed. The food was absolutely bad and the portions small and way too expensive.The best thing was the parking lot with parking meter right in front of the door. Since we were here last year and were very satisfied, the manager should ask himself what has changed. Bad management and even worse cooks?

We Stopped for an early dinner. Thanks for google reviews, we enjoyed the experience. Local draft beer, burger and salmon sandwich, all good. The waitress is a college student, we had a nice chat, wish her the best!

Great resto in Antagonish! A great stop if you’re looking to break up the drive to and from Cape Breton. They have a very extensive menu from burgers, sandwiches, wraps, pasta to all the local seafood favourites. The portions are good, but the quality was great. Simple but hit the spot. The chowder was tasty with a good amount of fish inside. The service was quick and friendly.

One of the best places I had food at in a small town. The PEI Mussels were good with nice garlic bread. The pizza was also good but the most amazing find was their Raddler beer. The beer is amazing and must have if one is here. The service was very good and the ambience is warm. Over all one of my best experiences

We got seated quickly and when our server came she was polite. She recommended a light beer for me which was good. We had fish and chips which were delicious. We meet another couple there and had a great conversation.Two issues I had was she never came back to ask if wanted anything else. I wanted another beer. I had to find her to get our bill

We drove there from Halifax, just to have lunch. Great food, service and atmosphere.I had the Scotia burger with fries as my main, and a chocolate pie for desert.My wife had the veggie burger with sweet potatoes; and my son the pizza from the kids menu and ice-cream for desert.

I've come here twice and both times was a nice experience. First and foremost everyone here is very friendly and welcoming. Both times our server was attentive, kind and helpful. At dinner it was quite busy and we had to wait, but it was not a long wait and they kept you informed about how long it would be and tried to get us a table quickly. I found the atmosphere of Brownstone was nice and thoroughly enjoyed dining here. I loved the Thai chicken chips appetizer, it was really good. The lobster roll and fries I found to be rather expensive compared to other places but loved the dish. There were no complaints regarding the food everyone had, just that one or two dishes were quite plain. Over all it was a wonderful experience and I look forward to coming back.

Brownstone Restaurant
This local restaurant is in my opinion one of the best restaurants in Nova Scotia. They have a great selection of food, reasonable prices and super courteous staff. All of our selections were delicious but the dessert that we ordered merited additional mention. It was the caramel cake with vanilla ice cream. It was SO good!! We highly recommend Brownstone and will definitely be back!
