Pelican Rouge Fish & Chips
Soggy batter and no flavour, besides it being fishy. Portions were small for the price. Only things decent were the chicken and fries (if they salt it while it's hot and fresh, so that the salt sticks to the food. Otherwise it also lacked in flavour).

This place had some of the best halibut and chips I’ve had, I asked for extra crispy and they came out perfect. The chef came out to ensure our food was how we wanted it, he even threw in an extra piece of halibut as one of the pieces in our combo was a little smaller. Great food, and amazing service! Will definitely be back, the service alone made the experience as it seems good customer service is very hard to find these days.

Pelican Rouge Fish & Chips
Had a wonderful dinner here with my family. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was fast, friendly, and had the personal touch of a small local business. The owner/cook chatted with us at our table and made us feel welcome. He was genuinely interested in our experience and encouraged any feedback, good or bad. If you're looking for a nice place to go for takeout, dine-in, or sunny patio, this is it!

Amazing service on 2 separate occasions! The first time I went to Pelican rouge, my friend and I were really craving fries. Sadly, we only had change (10 and 5 cent coins). The nice man at the window still let us pay thankfully. The second time we went back it was around their closing time. The man at the window saw us outside and still asked for our orders even though It was 5 minutes after they closed. He brought us out food and even gave us a free portion of fries as they were closing and were gonna throw them out. The chicken strips were nice and hot but the fries could use a little more salt. Overall great experience and I would definitely recommend if you’re at crescent beach and are looking for something to eat.

Came here by accident after being turned away from Hooked fish and chips" down the street. We originally went to "Hook" to get some fish and chips but were kicked out because my kids were eating ice cream cones. I found that very rude and pretentious. So we came here to Pelican Rouge instead. SO GLAD WE DID!! food was delicious and fresh. Owner and waitress were friendly and service was excellent. You want good fish and chips? Cone here."

Tried this place for the first time today, had the halibut and chips. Definitely my new favourite for fish and chips! Generous portion, and very tasty!
