Spruce Ridge Kennels

I purchased my dog Lily from Spruce Ridge 1 year ago. She is a coton de tulear and bichon frise mix. Lily is super affectionate, smart and great with other dogs and kids. She has a strong will and lots of energy (she just turned one so this could mainly be puppy energy) but her temperament is very sweet. She’s never aggressive or dominant. I wanted to share this so that people have an idea of what this breed is like since I had never heard of it before!Honest review of the kennel... the kennel is on a farm, they stay in a heated building in pens with wood chips in them, naturally it’s smellier and not like a warm home. I feel like everything was to standard and appropriate but I was happy to take my girl out of there to give her a nice warm bed in a home. The first day I brought her home she had bloody diarrhea.. I had to bring her to the emergency vet right away and was not happy about this. I called Spruce Ridge and told her what had happened and she was very apologetic and after discussion she did pay for my vet bill. She also asked me to keep her updated on Lily’s situation. Lily is healthy and happy now and we presume it was potentially from her eating the wood chips, she did not have a parasite. I am giving five stars because she covered the vet bill and was accommodating. I would return to purchase another puppy based on my experience with this kennel.

I just adopted a little sheti bichon mix from spruce ridge kennel. The facility is very clean and the people at the facility are very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are very good and the dogs are well taken care of. My little guy is settling into his new furever home very nicely. Would highly recommend them for anyone in search of their new fur baby.

I want to start of with saying that we got a great puppy. fully healthy adorable and just what we were looking for. My family had really wanted a dog for a while and during covid it wood take years to get one but we found this breeder and it was only a few month wait with great service and incredible dogs. We fully checked out the place and the dogs are treated very well with plenty of food water and room. we got a cavachon puppy and we would definitely recommend they like lots of attention and cuddles but when there energetic they will love a round of fetch they have the perfect temper and is definitely a lap dog I would recommend for families because there not to little but not big.

We adopted a Cavalier King Charles puppy (born last March2021) in July and found the whole experience to be great from first contact to bringing Kenny home. He was obviously well cared for and we met the mom too. The vet was impressed with him when we took him for his first check up. Now he has graduated puppy training and will be going to help me at the local hospital when he completes his training as a therapy dog. We have only positive reviews for the breeder.

We got our cute little Bichon-Poo Leo from Spruce Ridge Kennel in Dec 2021. Alma was wonderful and patient, provided all info, details & trimmed his nails when we picked him up. Leo is a happy, outgoing, playful, well behaved and smart dog. He was 4 months old when we got him and surprisingly we were able to potty train him in 3 days. Our family is super happy with their service and with our cutest new family member.

We purchased our Cavachon, Wrigley, from Spruce Ridge Kennels, just over a year ago. They have a beautiful sprawling farm and many hands looking after the puppies. While they may not keep their litters inside their own home, the kennel is just behind the house and there were many hands looking after the puppies. On a couple of visits, we were quietly met by their own family dog, who promptly rolled over and accepted our belly rubs…this was just one reason we chose this kennel. Alma answered all our questions truthfully and we were able to meet the parents. On each visit, we were able to hold the puppies and they were calm and cuddly. Our pup was checked by a vet, given his first immunizations and all paperwork was given to us. Alma was sure to not let the puppies go to their forever homes until they had been properly weened and checked by the vet. We were even sent home with more than a 2-week supply of superior quality dog food. Our Wrigs has been an absolute joy and welcome addition to our family. He is adorable, energetic, well-behaved, quiet, smart and cuddly. We have recommended this kennel to several people and 2 families recently brought home their new fur baby from this kennel. I got my dog Stela from here about 7.5 years ago. Her mom was Peppa and her dad Tobey. She died recently of cancer at age 7. I wonder if anyone else had a puppy from the same parents and if they also lost their dog to cancer.

We bought our Luna there February 2020. She is the most loving doll. She is a cavaton and we absolutely adore her. She loves everyone and gives us so much joy! We would buy another pup there when the time comes

We got our bichon puppy from this kennel, Oreo brought us many joys in the past of year, we are happy. And hopefully we want to look for his siblings if possible, Oreo Bichon’s birthday is July 5, 2021

I had a Cavachon. He reached the age of 12 and died from heart disease over 5 months ago, I emailed back and forth with a woman I think her name was Alma. She quoted me the price for a Cavachon for between 3k to 4k. She was very vague with me and the red flags were waving. First off that's a ridiculous price for a Cavachon. Cavachons are a designer dog not a purebred. If she tells you otherwise it's not true. To make a long story short I have decided on a King Charles Cavalier from a very reputable breeder. Yes, there is a waiting list but guess what the breeders are excellent and give guarantees etc. Oh yes the price for a Charlie is half of what it is for a Cavachon from this place. Cavachons are great dogs but are not a breed that is recognized
