Tends to have very long line-ups, even early in the day. Staff service quality differs from person to person. Overall, the kind of lukewarm experience you'd expect from a government facility like this.

Amazing experience as I arrived at one of the Toronto locations at 2:00 p.m. on a regular thursday. There was absolutely no lineup and only one person at the counter built to accommodate five people. Think I will buy a lottery ticket tonight.

This place full of show off. They act like they're running the country. Very rude no respect for citizens. I have no idea how their still working with attitude. I will never go back. Always full of attitude. They should know their salary coming from us. They should learn how to talk to people. Soo rude.

You should fire the lady with the short red hair. I needed help for registration of my new van and that woman not only didn't help me after I went twice with all my paper work but the attitude and irony that was expressing was unacceptable. Sometimes they forget they work for us and get paid by our taxes. Anyways I went to a different one with same paperwork and they were happy to help me.

The waiting time was about 30 minutes, which was excellent based on the crowd that was there. The customer in front of me was very pleasant and knowledgeable senior from Iran so conversation with him helped pass the time nicely, the place was clean and the attendants efficiently conducted the customer's business judging from the smiles of people who were leaving.

Be aware, this is ServiceOntario ran by 3rd party service provider, so any issues/special situations they can’t help you, but they don’t tell you that until multiple visits. Avoid! Terrible experience on multiple visits, due to incomplete information is being provided by employees. Also, don’t provide any opportunity to write a complaint about terrible service.

I had a bad experience with Service Ontario on January 27, 2023 in the afternoon. I did an address change back October or in November 2022 and didn't receive my license at the new address. It was sent back to Service Ontario main office, I was never informed and had no confirmation letter either. When I arrived at the Service Ontario centre in person to ask them, the Filippino staff had to call the main office. The address on my driver's license is correct and was the same as what they had in the system. Her colleague told her to ask a question on behalf of another person that had an inquiry. She was on the phone longer than she should have. She should have passed the phone to her colleague to get the response to the other person's question instead of making me wait more than 15 minutes. She said that my license was sent to the new address but was mailed back to the main office. That is what they found in the system. She charged me $35+ for a replacement card to be sent to my new address when I did not lost the card but it is the MTO or Service Ontario office that received the card back. I didn't make a mistake but somehow they made an error and should compensate for it. I never received the card and should not have been charged for a replacement. I had my old card at the time when I went to the centre. The office was busy that day.

Honestly one of the best Service Ontario offices I've been to. The workers are fast, efficient and didn't make causal conversation with each other with a huge line like other Service Ontario offices do (Kingston Rd office is horrible!) This office is really really great and you'll be in and out if you help them if you have your stuff together

This little Service Ontario office is great. It does everything you need it to do (renewals, updates, first time applications etc). The staff is charming and helpful. Two things to note: you can't book an appointment online for this location, it's walk-ins only (as of May 2023). When you go to the website, you won't be able to find this location in the appointment booking section since it doesn't show up at all. Finally, since the office is relatively small, it can get filled up quickly(queues). It can handle about 20 people standing in a queue line at once (there are 7 tellers operating at once), however if there's more people, the queue line will have to go around and it will bleed through getting very close to teller number 6 on the other side and it'll slightly block the entrance door...the problem with this is that in this office they have a rule that no person is allowed to be on that side nor blocking the entrance(fire hazard perhaps?), and this creates an issue as it's very difficult to squeeze in on the other side when there's lots of people. There was an incident today(cause I was there renewing my license) where an angry older obese white man was standing close too close to the entrance so he was told to move to the other side by the staff, unfortunately there wasn't space for him to be on the other side, so he got frustrated at those instructions and engaged in an argumentative yelling match with the staff members. Ultimately a scene was caused while all of the patrons(about 30 in total) stood quietly watching this back and forth screaming. It was unfortunate but I see both sides of the argument. The gentleman man decided to leave and drive to another Service Ontario because of this incident. Point is: be prepared to handle this when/if you come here. There may be lots of people in queue and you may get confusing instructions so just bear with it until you can handle your business. Wait time is not bad at all. When I got there on a Tuesday morning(after Victoria Day), there were 20+ people in front of me and it only took me 45min in total to get my driver's license renewed. The 7 tellers working simultaneously help with the speed of the queue.

The individual responsible for center management would greatly benefit from training in professional communication with the public. Although he is a diligent worker who actively assists clients by attending to various stations, his approach to communication is quite poor. During a moment when everyone was patiently waiting in silence, he became upset because a client arrived late for their appointment. In response, he stood up and began speaking loudly and aggressively to everyone in the entire center, emphasizing the importance of respecting appointments and expressing frustration that arriving early or late was wasting employees' time. While the center's employees are genuinely proactive and professional, the manager's deficiency in effective communication skills has the potential to undermine all the collective efforts being made.
