We have visited many times and it has been so enjoyable! The hosts are friendly and helpful and the home is full of amazing books to read and places to read those books. You and your child will leave wanting to read more! I've never before seen a place like this! I love that they send you home with a free book!

Little Red Reading House by Calgary Reads
This is such a great thing to do with kids. Parking is a challenge but worth it. On the main leve there are books books books and reading nooks and snuggly places. Upstairs is a more active / doing area where there are things to make and explore. They have the most amazing little doll house. I think my fav is the sunflower room. We took a bag of books to donate. The facilitators were great, helpful at just the right times, but letting families explore as they want. There are books there for older kids, but mostly aimed at elementary and younger.

This is an amazing place to come and ignite the love of reading in everyone. Staff are always very friendly, nice and helpful. Parking can be difficult but not impossible.

Little Red Reading House by Calgary Reads
This is such a wonderful place for kids to read and explore with lots of nooks for them to take their books into. There are outdoor reading areas as well. The selection of books is for a variety do ages and levels. It is such a fun place. Each room is decorated in a different book theme. Reservations are needed to book visitation time slots.

An amazing place to introduce and instill a love of reading. Lots of things to explore and many fun places to curl up with a good book. The facilitators help you out as well - helping the children find books they will enjoy. Finally, at the end of your booking, every person gets to take a book home.

Little Red Reading House by Calgary Reads
This house is everything I wish my house could be. Tons of cozy nooks and comfy couches to curl up with a new book, or a dozen new books! The facilitators are kind and welcoming. In addition to books there are crafts, toys, and games. I can't rave enough about this wonderful place and we will definitely be regular visitors.
