A great LYS that carries a very good selection and variety of yarn and notions. Supports local designers. Very friendly and helpful staff.

In the last 3 weeks, I spent roughly $175 on wool, a pattern and needles to knit one sweater. I ran into problems with my sweater and went into the store yesterday to ask for help, to be told that I could book an appt with their teacher for $20/hour. I thought that was a great deal and left my name and number. I then purchased another pair of needles. The teacher called me today and said she was fully booked until Feb 18th. I explained I was going away next week and wanted to take my project with me. No, not possible to see her before then. She said she was teaching so I asked if I could come in before her class for the help? No, that wouldn't work. She mentioned I'd forgotten to take my new needles with me so I asked her to mail them. No, that's not possible. How come? Well it would incur a cost. I realize it's my fault for forgetting them but now I have to drive from White Rock to almost Fort Langley to pick them up. After spending the amount of money I did for one sweater, for the sake of 88 Stitches putting my needles in an envelope and sticking a stamp on it and mailing the envelope to me doesn't sit well at all. I give this store 0 for customer service; the teacher I spoke to was curt, almost to the point of rudeness. I will never patronize this store again and won't hesitate to share my experience.

I am so pleased this shop is taking Covid protocols seriously and protecting their staff and customers by reducing their opening hours. They have always kept the public well informed of this through their website, and have happily taken my phone order for curbside pick up when I needed it. They have kept me in yarn through this trying time!

Great stock with very knowledgeable staff. My only regret is that I don't live closer to it!

I visit this local yarn store when in Langley BC. There is a wide variety of (mostly) natural fiber yarns which aren't cheap, but the quality is great. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and there seems to be several friendly folks working on projects any time we stop in. Love this place! I dock it one star because of premium pricing and lack of access to Ravelry online for printing out patterns in store.

Very unreliable open hours (only 3 days a week in January!) and closed for unexpected chunks of time. I tried twice to go and keep finding them closed.

Take it from this yarn shop junky, THIS PLACE IS GREAT! The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. With a great variety of yarn brands and an excellent feature of local designers and yarn (Sweet Fiber especially) you would be missing out on a real gem if you didn't stop! If I lived on the Lower Mainland THIS would be my local yarn shop for sure! Make sure to visit and tell them Juniper Grace sent you!

I'm glad this is far enough away from home that I don't go often because it's got so much in selection for knitting / crocheting. It's not Walmart or Michael's - this is the good stuff. I could've filled my minivan! Great staff and store.

This is a wonderful shop with very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They have a large selection of yarn and patterns and have become my favourite place to shop for my knitting needs.
