Used to be a regular over the last 15 or so years, the guy who ran the place was unfailingly friendly, and you left happier just having dealt with him.NOT ANY MORE. Had the dubious pleasure of dealing with the new manager (I'm guessing)on Saturday. Not a pleasant experience.Server was bagging my order, but had only grabbed one of the two items that I'd ordered. No big deal, I asked about the second order as she was setting me up with some California seasoning. She misunderstood, and grabbed a couple extra packs.New Manager dude sees this, loses all composure and berates the poor server, then turns on me and in a breathtaking display of aggresive rudeness, shouts that you get one per order

Food is always excellent. My personal gripe is that it would be nice to have people serving food wearing masks, but these days public health seems to be a far cry from reality and making decisions based solely on capitalist greed!

Love this location! The gentleman here is always very friendly and good comes out piping-hot and fresh!

I went to this location and proceeded to get a classic regular poutine for my daughter along with a Canada Dry drink. When I proceeded to go pay my amount was $12.82. The lady asked me how I was paying and I proceeded to tell her cash. I gave her exactly $12.80. She proceeded to tell me that I did not give her the correct amount, and that I would need to pay the difference on the card, I stood there and argued with her that I didn’t owe anything more, and that I gave her the correct amount of money, and that she incorrectly counted it wrong because she could barely speak English. Now I’m not one to judge based on culture, but I am very upset that she was yelling at me and accusing me of not giving her the correct amount of money. I was very embarrassed as I had my small daughter next to me, and there was a large line up of people behind me. After I proceeded to get the poutine, I went to go pick up the Canada dry as it was not readily available to me, the girl asked me if I paid for it I said yes, she asked me for my receipt and I told her that the lady did not provide me with a receipt, we went back-and-forth regarding the Canada dry, and then she proceeded to give it to me after I put up a stink for paying for the poutine and Canada, dry, and again, I was once again embarrassed in front of my daughter, and the rest of the people in line. I’m very disappointed as New York fries is one of my daughters favourite restaurants and I don’t think I will be returning after this experience. It would definitely help if people had better experiences in training on cash, and know that a form of payment is not just a card, but there are people who use cash as well. Counting and math is a basic life skill and it should be taught to those who don’t know how to count; even for that matter, somebody like that should not have been on cash, and should’ve been doing something else. There should be a strong person who leads a cash register. They are the face of the company when you first approach it, and I already had an awful experience based on her.

The person taking my order, and preparing it was incredibly sweet and nice, the shorter one with the blond hair (didn’t catch their name). As a line formed they were still the only one helping around 10 customers while two other workers (one that had just gotten there) stood closer to the back eating poutines while the single employee was struggling to keep up. I recommend re-considering your workers as it seems like not everyone is being productive on company time.

My wife got me dinner tonight from this location. A combo hot dog plus putine with double cheese. As I was excited to eat after work. I open the boxes. The putine had no gravy at all. I still try to eat it, but with no gravy for the putine, it was just dry. Took few bites & throw it in the garbage because there was no gravy in my putine. I took a photo of this problem meal tonight. But for some reason there is no where to post it up. I am very disappointed & kind of upset about this experience.

I've been to this location many times in many years almost every other week but these 2 times experience really shocked me. I just went today (10/10) and 2 days (10/8) before and ordered poutine and fries. There was a new lady (with the rude attitude) that I've never seen her before. On Friday, I knew the speaker was broken so I had to repeat few times (which I understood) to order and she still did wrong with my order. I tried to clarify with her. She seem that she didn't get it. When she explained to her co-worker, she told her in a wrong way. Thanks for for her co-worker who came to clarify with the orders. I also kept telling the lady that I would pay with the NY app (I kept showing her my point card). But she didn't get it and asked me few times how I was gonna pay for it.Today was even worse. Nothing wrong with the order (I guess it was because the speaker was fixed) but the same lady asked me again how I was gonna pay for it even I already told her that I would pay with the point card. After I paid, she didn't even tell me to wait at the other side. Instead, she waved her finger and pointed the direction without any eye contacts or saying anything. I would say this was really rude service I received. And I still gave 3 stars because I really appreciated the staffs who I've met so far including her co-worker in these two days.

I am tired of going to this food outlet. Each and every time I go their I seem to get the same person to take my order. She does not wear a name tag so I cannot refer to her by name.She never takes an order properly, she is always angry and unpleasant, she takes out the food the same way, with Anger.She talks to me as though she is doing me a favour by taking my order and taking the food out.I am so fed up of this girl. I don't think I will ever buy food again from their. She makes my meal so unpleasant. That I prefer to go elsewhere.
