Nice and relaxing

Amazing location to take a walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery. couple coffee shops, community centre and plenty of parking around.

It's a beautiful place with a great view!

Nice location, good scenery and calm water. You can rent a boat and drive yourself. You don't need license for that.Avoid taking small kids in the small boat.

If you happen to be walking along the Vancouver downtown waterfront, this marina will impress you with its large number of boats, some of which are of an impressive size. But these big yachts are not the most attractive of the lot. The two that you will notice most are the blue and red houseboats that are moored in the middle of the marina.

Great to walk and bike. Nice for photos lovers

It's a great place to dock your boat

What a shame. This Marina used to be great before the new General Manager took over. Odai Sirri is a power hungry, rude and dangerous manager who needs training in customer service. This marina is now operating unethically by taking cash bribes to get moorage. We had a terrible experience after Odai made an error and moved us to 3 different slips in 1 week and then cancelled our reservation on us in the middle of our stay! The incoming guest revealed he had to pay his way to get in. The dock is also filthy and is full of hazards as boaters are allowed to leave personal items everywhere and they are not cleaning adequately. They have an electrical problem with shotty shore power. Not worth the money to stay here, hopefully the City of Vancouver permits the building of another large marina soon.

The Coal Harbour Marina is situated between the Devonian Harbour Park and Canada Place in Downtown Vancouver. It is surrounded by quite a few swanky hotels, restaurants and tall residential buildings. There were quite a few grand yachts and many smaller ones. It was interesting to read their names. I remember one yacht had the quirky name ‘Fish and Chics’. Some of them were private and some of them could be chartered for fishing trips. Some could be hired for whale watching or island hopping.

This is a review for sight-seeing, not boaters :)Today we stood and watched as Fisherman cleaned their Salmon and fed the harbor seals. Immensely fun for myself and the visitors from all around the world - taking in the sights.The water walk juts out for great pics. The paddlewheel boat of Harbor Cruises swings by, seaplanes take off and land, cruise ships are visible at Canada Place.Keep walking and hop into Cadero's restaurant for a drink and snack. Huge fireplaces and gorgeous deck overlooking the water.
