I had a fabulous experience when I took my foster dog to the Pet Wash last week. She is petrified of hoses, and I contacted Pet Valu the day beforehand asking if they could help assist me in this matter. Sydelle was not only helpful on the phone, yet also when I arrived she ensured I was alone with my foster in that area. She gave me some treats, put up a sign and went beyond all means to ensure we would all be safe under the circumstances.Thanks again Sydelle...you truly made the experience the best, given her fear of hoses.

This place used to be good and recently the service could be better. I asked a few questions about the product tonight, and the people there have yet to try to help. We purchased so many things, and the salesperson said would you like a paper bag for 25 cents obviously, we replied sure. She threw the paper bag in front of us, and I was waiting to see if she wanted to do something else, but she turned and left. We had to bag our purchase ourselves! My question is, if you charge for everything, aren’t you suppose to give service to your clients too?I understand the charge for a bag, but what about respecting the clients?Why does pet value not put the self-service stations for checkout? At least we know what to expect.

I used to enjoy going to this pet valu store at Queen & Coxwell and browse through the selections of pet foods until recently. As I was walking through the aisles I heard dog crying from the back .. instantly alarmed I ran to check and poor frightened dog was in tiny grooming room crying for help. The sound and image of this adorable dog in panic also caused me to have panic attacks long after I left store and wasn’t able to sleep that night. I loved this store but will not be able to return as long as it keeps running the grooming room. I would certainly not trust current groomer here with my own dogs. The diy bathing station is great. Also missed the lady owner who used to run the store.. she’s super nice and helpful.

Very nice staff with a good dog showering area. Some of the patrons who go leave it dirty with hair galore - common use some common courtesy for everyone.. but the staff always clean it promptly.. feel bad for them. Staff deserve recognition here!!

Horrible customer service. I ordered online to pick up in store and the store was completely disorganized. It didn’t end up saving any time and the staff was rude. The location was convient but it’s not worth the disorganization.
