Copart - Calgary

Kim at the front counter was wonderful! I went in to pick up some personal items from my vehicle (deemed a total loss after a collision). Only a 3-4 people ahead of me on a Tuesday afternoon. Kim was very helpful and kind and I was in and out within an hour. Lots of parking, easy to locate the building and the online checkin was quick.

You have to put deposit to start to bit. Trying to get the deposit back for a few days, still no lack

Get familiar with their policies and do your homework on the vehicles you wanna bid on and you should be good.I had multiple issues throughout my history with Copart but all has been sorted out eventuallySpecial thanks to Kim, she’s always helpful in the best way

Very good COVID-19 precautions (follow the poster's instructions at the entrance on arrival) & the office is clean and tidy. Customer Service not bad... The location is quite easy to locate. Please prepare to wait a bit though but not that bad.

Bad experience. Was told by insurance to make an appointment in order to grab Items from a car. Called and was directed to Edmonton office who schedule the appointment and gave instructions on what to do when I arrived with an order #. Arrived for my appointment time when I was told I had to join the general line and that the office did not do appointments.Now my time is wasted after making an appointment when I would have come sooner, and missed my own meetings afterwards as my vehicle was not ready until 45-mins to an hour after my appointment.Edmonton office also communicated with Calgary office over the computer while I stood there on the phone, discussing the issue.TD Insurance should chose another yard to send these cars if they want to ask people to make appointments to pick them up.

Buyer be ware, Purchased a Jeep Cherokee through their auction 3years ago was able to register but when I went to sell the previous owner vehicle lien still showed as active Copart had not made sure the lien was cleared before selling. Brought this to their attention in early May and have not had this cleared to date and as a result have not been able to sell the vehicle. Make sure to run a title check before completing a sale with these guys or simply stay away.Update after 4 months lien was cleared with help from the Calgary gm

There was items in the back of my truck that they helped themselves to, took items out of the cab and put them in the box, so they were ruined by weather. As bad as the thieves that stole my truck!

This is my first time experience bidding for car on copart and it was a total terrible experience.This platform is not friendly for first time user.To deposit is a total complex experience.I deposited $600 and During bidding, The car I didn't selected for was brought up, I don't know what I clicked. The next thing I saw was that I have won a very old car.I called both their Calgary office and their international office, none could help out. All I was told is either to forfeit my $600 or come and pick the car after paying another money called administrative charge.This is a total scam and fraud to me. Stay clear if you are accessing this platform without any guide

I had a great experiencing dealing with Copart Calgary. Their staff is very friendly and manager Timothy really helped me out. He went above and beyond what I expected. Will buy from them again.
