I am very content with the french cours I took at Language teams. We had a wonderful teacher Jeanne, who was able to explain the french language very clear. Each week we handled a specific grammer topic, and we also received exercises that we could do frome home in order to speed up the learning process. Besides learning a lot, it was also fun to have this face to face cours with other 'students'. Had lots of laughs!

I had the opportunity to take six weeks of Dutch intensive courses at the Bxl Academy this summer.From my first contact with the administration, the staff were very professional. I always got the impression that all of my questions would be addressed, and if there was ever any delay in receiving information, both the teachers and the administrators were quick to come back to me with a response.Inside the classroom, I received focused instruction with gentle correction, which made me more enthusiastic about practicing Dutch outside of the school. I also thought the students were well grouped according to level. Within a few weeks, I was able to write work e-mails, answer queries by phone, and make hotel and restaurant bookings. I found this quite impressive given that I had started with the vocabulary of a false beginner. The teachers were able to provide us with good resources to continue practicing outside of the classroom and recommendations for TV shows, films and local events geared towards the study of Dutch.Personally, I will try to come back to this school at some point in the future for a refresher course. The enthusiasm I felt for learning Dutch was reinforced by the staff every step of the way. I would definitely recommend the Bxl Academy to anyone motivated to study a language in Brussels.

I’ve had a great experience with Bxl Academy. The virtual classes are convenient and easy to plan around work and life. Classes are small and interactive. My teacher, Lily, put lots of time and consideration around course planning, which makes time in the classroom fun and engaging. Would recommend to anyone interested in learning a second language!

I had an intensive course of French in Bxl Academy. The school is conveniently located in the center of Brussels, only two steps away from Art-Loi metro station. If you go by car you can always find a parking space in one of the nearby streets, you have to pay though - around 4 euro for 3.5 hours. As for the course itself I really enjoyed it. It was held in a small group of 6 people. I had a great teacher, Ingrid, who created a warm, friendly, and at the same-time highly-motivating environment in the group. Our work in the classroom was intense but not tiring, and even the coffee breaks during which we chatted informally were aiming at improving students’ level of French. Within 4 weeks we progressed from level A2 to level B1, which seemed a target difficult to achieve at first. But the process of learning was organised the way we could practice grammar and comprehension, and improve speaking, and writing skills at the same time.I also would like to point out that the work of the school secretariat is beyond any praise. Whatever issue or question you have - you always get support and answers. As an expat I highly value clear and friendly communication, and Bxl Academy is the place providing it 100 per cent.I highly recommend this school to everyone who wants to learn French.

My great experience at Bxl Academy was for three fold: classes tailored to students; professional, friendly professors; and lastly, its strong influence on conversation as a means of learning.Their methodology is that through conversation, supplemented by grammar lessons, students can gain confidence to acquire the language and freely speak. No textbooks were used, which is great - handouts targeting common weaknesses in the group really elevated our language skills. Our professor, Romain, was diligent to correct all of our verbal mistakes - making us realize how we had individually grown to learn the language. This provided opportunities to reflect on why we committed those mistakes. Besides handouts, games and role-playing is used to teach French.Add to this the incredible decor of the place. It's conducive to learning the language professionally and to have a quier space afterwards to reflect on lessons. You'll just have to make sure you bring your own cups/capsules of coffee!

I have had lessons with Bxl Academy for several years and have found their level of service to be excellent. My teacher is great and I am progressing very well in my chosen language. I would thoroughly recommend them!

I have been following a private Dutch language course for more than a year now with Bxl Academy to my greatest satisfaction. Vicky is a wonderful teacher, she fully adapts the classes to my needs (including the topics we discuss as well as the grammar we practice). My Dutch knowledge significantly improved, from not feeling comfortable to speak in Dutch to being fluent. I full heartedly recommend Bxl Academy!
